The resort and our rooms were very nice, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint would be the mosquitos. We had a lovely balcony overlooking both the water and the pool, but you couldn’t sit out there for the mosquitos. We were being bitten sitting around the pool and even in the pool. Every time I rode the elevator, I swapped at and killed at least one of the blood suckers. I even killed a few lying in my bed, but not enough to avoid bites.

We arrived early but were able to use the pool. Lovely cannon firing ceremony at sunset with a sunset shot from the bar. We ate wings and a pretzel from the bar which were both delicious. Room was large and the bed was really comfortable.

It was very frustrating that during our cumulative total of eight days stay, seven nights, the housekeeping plan was to only clean our room one time and it was on the seventh night. When we asked about this three days in, they said OK we can probably fit in one cleaning for you midway through your stay but that will be the only one, if you desire any additional cleanings that will be $150 each. When they cleaned the room, I would hardly call it clean. That was a little bit frustrating. Beyond that, we thoroughly enjoyed the property and our time at this particular Bluegreen resort.
