Good value for the money, nice central location, nice pool, hot tub, and grounds. Beach was a mess with seaweed and trash, and villas are cramped with a tiny kitchen, and tiny bathrooms, both upstairs (none on main floor). The villa was clean, though.

Outside area was not as described

The outside area was nowhere near what it was described. We could have been told that during our stay the beach would not look nothing like the pictures. That to me was very deceiving. Had I known, I would not have paid extra for a beach front. Besides the smell, the amount of seaweed there was so much trash. I believe the cleanup efforts could have been better to please the patrons. This was my family vacation, and I paid almost 3K to stay here and nothing about the view or beach was pleasant. I would have stayed elsewhere. The condo is old and outdated and has a stale smell to it. If they put in just a little bit of money to update them, they would be more pleasant. The hot tub was dirty. It was very hot upstairs and didnt cool down until the middle of the night. Very small and tight quarters. This is my honest review.

Place was great accept for the sargassum/sea weed all over the beach - they also did not clean it up Would have liked to be notified of this prior to are arrival. We are aware that its not the managements fault, as it is a natural occurence would have just liked a heads up.

Lovely beach and pool

Our stay at Coco Plum was enjoyable with plenty of time on the beach and by the pool. Although the premeses were not perfectly clean, having some neglected spots, and household supplies are limited to very basic equipment, the building is attractive and convenient to local activities. We visited the Aquarium, the Dolphin Research Center, and The Turtle Hospital, all wonderfully educational and fun. We decided we needed to point out the narrow, winding stairway to the second floor, the only access to bedrooms and bathrooms. Carrying lugguage up this stairway is more than challenging! And having no bathroom on the first floor is inconvenient. In addition, access to the residence requires mounting seventeen outdoor steps, clearly no handicapped accessible. Although this information may have been included in the advertising, it was not obviously so. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and thoroughly lovely deck were great. The buildings are close together, and decks abut each other closely enough to make handicap privacy, but do not constitute a huge deficiency, in my opinion. Despite the shortcomings, I would stay in this residence again for the sake of the beach and the pool with its comfy poolside chairs.

Quite and Beautiful Property

This was the perfect place to stay!Right on a private beach, the grounds were well maintained and beautiful.It was great to have the whole villa to ourselves rather than being in one of those skyrise condos.I would recommend this to anyone looking to stay at in Marathon!

Great location

Family if 4 with 2 teens. Stayed for four nights and everything was great. Water was a bit chilly but as expected in early March. The Fish Grille is right acroos the highway and ate there 4 times. Great bunch everyday.

A little slice of paradise

This place was clean and had all the amenities we needed for a comfy stay. The kitchen was stocked with nice cookware, new appliances and everything we needed to cook a few meals in between trying all the great restaurants the area has to offer. The beds were clean and comfortable. The new washer and dryer were an added bonus!We loved the private beach and the pool and hot tub were nice. The staff were all great! We loved this whole experience, it’s just what we needed for a few peaceful, relaxing beach days. We will definitely be back!

beach front

The pool and beach were great, but the pool was advertised as heated, it was a not warm, bit chilly. If you have a person with health issues or balance issues there are a lot of steps to the villa and bedrooms. Overall the property is very nice and quiet.

Hesitated but was Amazing!

I was traveling with a family of six and we booked a bit last minute for the Florida Keys during New Years week. There weren’t a lot of properties left, but this one was (now I think on a fluke!). The photos online looked a little bit outdated, and I wasn’t sure if the unique layouts inside the units would give enough space for six. I’m happy to report. It was very spacious and we felt like we had even more room than we needed. Our unit was updated significantly versus the picture shown. Everything was sparkling, clean on the entire property, including the pool, the beach, and the hot tub. You couldn’t ask for a better location. It is hard to find a nice beach in the keys, and this one was right at our doorstep. The multimillion dollar mansions on both sides are a testament to the great location. Inside the condo was well appointed with kitchen supplies, bedding, and was thoroughly cleaned before we arrived. quietrespectful.

Quiet Time in the FL KEYS

The property is a little dated but what a spectacular location. The property has a nice beach front, great boat dock across the street and easy access to many of the wonderful restaurants in Marathon. Very quiet area so if you’re looking to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet this is the place.

Great stay!

We had two adults and two 10yo in our unit. We had plenty of room. The kitchen is very well equipped and the welcome packet has a ton of useful information about the area. The starter coffee and delicious chocolates were a welcomed surprise. The grounds are beautiful, and well cared for. The units are a bit dated, could use just a touch of an aesthetic refresh, but everything was very clean and in working order. The beach and the pool area cannot be beat. Having a private beach right there was perfection. The beach is just beautiful! As described, this is a quiet family place and it lived up to its expectations. Beach and pool were never crowded or loud.

Nice property. The room is a little tired

The property was very nice. Nice beach. Nice pool. Nice location. The staff was very helpful for our late arrival. But the room showed it’s age. Cabinet doors missing in kitchen. Threadbare carpet on stairs. Closet door falling off its track. Etc. It was comfortable, but the age was noticeable.
