This is an "old Florida" place in a good sense. It's extremely casual, not at all fancy but well maintained and friendly. The only thing I didn't like was double beds. (David and I are spoiled.) At the end of the crushed rock driveway is tie up for a boat. It's on the shore of a shallow cove. Long on charm!

False advertising! The floating rooms don’t even exist. The online pictures are from pre-Erma. We slept in our clothes and shoes with one eye on the door. We used our own beach towels as blankets. Absolutely horrible. I’d like a refund.

The worst experience I’ve had in the Florida Keys—and I visit often. I wish I could send photos of the conditions of the place. The noise from the air conditioning was infernal; we had to turn it off to be able to sleep. The room was old, falling apart, and filthy. The shower was broken. The towels were dirty. In short—a disaster. I cannot download the photos.
