I had both breakfast and dinner there as did I stay there. The hotel staff is very professional and helpful as the hotel is situated along the mountain where stairs are plentiful. They have golf carts that will help you get around should you need it. The walkway wind throughout the property in a very neat fashion. It's actually very cool they way it's built.

Four of us ate here last night for supper and we all enjoyed our meals and the wonderful location. It is in a beautiful location overlooking the ocean. The menu carried a large choice of foods. Our waiter was good and our food came to the table hot and very tasty.

We stayed here from January 12th to March 19th, 2019. We would like to start off saying that we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Dolphin Cove. Our room was very comfortable and clean, our mattresses were both very good (we had a 2 bedroom unit). The staff, both housekeeping, restaurant, front desk, maintenance and management, especially Lorena, were all excellent to us, very friendly and responsive to any requests that we had. It is an absolutely beautiful location, both pool and beach are great to swim in and spend the day at. Location is convenient as the bus goes by every half hour. We recommended this place to our friends, and they were very happy that we recommended it and they are coming back next year too! The food at the restaurant was always excellent, great breakfasts every morning, and reasonably priced lunches and dinners. Always yummy! One negative comment would be that the Internet was often slow, but that seems to be common in Mexico. We did have a few issues in our room, but they were taken care of right away by the Dolphin Cove staff, to our satisfaction! Keep up the great work, and see you next year. V and A

Economical accomodation. Beautiful view. Restaraunt staff knows very little english. Food was good most times but notallways consistent.Nice pool, reasonable drink prices. Note lots of stairs and steep climbs so not for the less mobile people. Bathrooms need work but they are ok. Some days the flush is a little slow. Bed was not great for my back, too hard for a 2 week stay.Rooms are kept clean and have no critters. Kitchen ok for light meals. No internet in the rooms. Tv is spanish only. Bring movies if thats your thing. We went out most days and cabs are quick. 50 peso to wallmart/130 to delmar beach.

This is a beautiful hotel with gorgeous views from every room. It is dated, but kept up nicely. Our jr. suite was plenty large enough for the two of us. The AC worked great so the rooms were always comfortable. There was nothing nicer than sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee, watching the city come to life. The pool and connected restaurant/bar was a great place to spend the day. It was never crowded so it was always comfortable. The food and drinks were always good and the staff were friendly and efficient. The beach was very nice as well. Nice shaded tables and lounges on a great sandy beach. The water was always warm and inviting. The down side, and it's a big one, is the number of steps involved in getting anywhere. 61 steps down to the room from the parking area. 117 steps from the room down to the pool. Another 35 steps from the pool to the beach. That's a lot of steps! We had to plan our days very carefully to minimize travel. They do offer staff to transport the elderly or infirm, but the service was slow and they could only transport one person at a time.

I've been traveling a lot in the past few years, and I said to my wife as we were leaving, "I think this is the best hotel ever!" Here's why. 1. The view is awesome - waking up to that sunrise is indescribable. 2. The pre-season price is a bargain. 3. The room has everything including a comfortable king size bed. 4. We logged hours on the terrace. 5. Service is top notch in every respect. 6. The restaurant had some of the best red snapper I've ever tasted. We will be back. What a great vacation!

I booked this online for 4 nights with breakfast and prepaid. The hotel is kept very clean abit older but they are looking after it. The pool is great, there were hardly any people staying when we were here. If I had know that it was a bit of a trek to town I would have booked elsewhere. You have to take the bus which runs about every 20 min or so or a taxi of course. We stayed in block 10 which is at the top a fantastic view but it is 122 steps down to the restaurant and pool. So if you have mobility issues, this can be a challenge. The restaurant service is basic don’t expect too much. Front desk staff are great and helpful. If you choose to stay here be sure to bring food and snacks for your room no where close to walk to get much. There is the big resort of Las Hadas next door we had a great dinner there one night same prices for food than at home. I also thought how how great it was going t be to sleep with the patio door open....not so much. There is the all inclusive next door the Karima ...every night they have live entertainment and the noise echoes across the water and it is too loud to sleep with the doors open. If you rent a car it is helpful to get around.

This property is in Las Hadas. A beautiful neighbourhood with cobblestone streets, hills and lovely views of the bay. We only stayed 1 night as it was raining too hard to drive to where we wete going in the dark. Pro's -The rooms were huge, with a terrific large terrazzo overlooking the ocean. Con's -There was a steep walk and sketchy spiral stairs to get to our room. Ok for us but would not have been ok for alot of people. Our bed was hard ( pillows were ok!) It is a traditional style, older Mexican resort. That probably does fill up with snowbirds for the whole winter. We ate in the palapa restaurant in the morning and service was terrific and meal/coffee very good. Pool area looked lovely but it was stormy so we didnt test it out! Lol.

For the first time in our lives we are in Manzanillo. This is on the West Coast of Mexico. It is the end of May and it is very hot. The humidity is also very high. The bad thing about this place is that there is a swimming pool, but we cannot use it because they are doing maintenance. There is a bus coming past this place every 15 minutes. It is bus number 8. The views from the place is lovely. We did not come by car so we have to make use of public transport. We could book a boat trip out to the sea which is not too expensive. I would have liked it if there was more activities that you could do for day outings. Or advice for things that you could do. At the reception the girls do not really know what is offered in town. We are probably the only people who asked such questions. We are from South Africa and wanted to see more of the country side outside of Manzanillo.

We have stayed here before and keep coming back. The prices are very reasonable and we adore the Romantico Suite! It is double the regular rooms and has a very large balcony with lots of beautiful bougainvillea throughout the property. The room has a well stocked kitchen and also has a washer/dryer which is such a plus. The king bed is backed with a concrete decorative shell with romantic lighting. There is a second bedroom if needed. This place is built on a hill, so there are lots of steps. The restaurant is next to the pool and the breakfast is wonderful. Service is terrific and the food is cooked to order. I love the chilaquiles. The restaurant is open through the day and the bar opens in the afternoon. We enjoy sitting on the beach under a palapa. This is a great spot to relax, read, nap. There is a bus that comes by about every half hour and takes you down to the main street, which is quite a walk away from the hotel. We love this place for a completely relaxing and stress free vacation. We have stayed here 6 times and enjoyed every visit.
