Very polite and helpful staff. Clean and adequate room. Handicap facilities were nice. Bed had a few lumps. TV guide needed updating to current channel list. Breakfast looked nice, but fasting for doctor so was unable to sample. Handy location and well-maintained outer spaces.

The motel is clean an the front desk clerk seemed nice. The pool was in terrible disrepair with the edges sharp and worn out. A different hotel guest cut her leg on the edge of the pool and it was not a small cut. The front desk people had a hard time finding band aids and she was bleeding pretty bad.

The hotel is very nice and a great value for the rate. I hate to nitpick, but: - The first thing I noticed was that the door had been damaged so that it didn't close properly - Then the handle on the toilet was not connected properly so it wouldn't flush. - I was in a hurry to get to a doctor appointment in the morning and I was very frustrated that both the waffle batter and the syrup container were almost empty while the guest clerk was playing on his phone.

We were charged and early check in fee... and at the time we checked in we asked about doing a little late check out(check it normally at 11, wanted to check out at 12) when the time came and they said that was fine... but then at 11 the next day they were knocking on the door repeating check out was at 11....... Also, there was definitely a lot weed smoking because it smelt like weed the entire time we were there(luckily only in the hallway and not our room near our baby). Also, communicating with the staff was very difficult. It was alright but should be half the price.

The breakfast is minimal. Would like more variety.

We always book pet-friendly hotels because we take our pup with us everywhere! The description for this hotel states Pet Friendly with a $35 pet fee. No problem. Upon check-in, 2 guys at the front desk were on a phone call (on their cell phone speakerphone) and I had to wait a few minutes for them to be done. **Neither of them had a name-tag on or any type of shirt or uniform to indicate they were in fact hotel employees. The guy who took my card and ID to check me in remained on the phone. He gave me a form to write down my car make & model and initial the no-smoking policy. I tried to tell him I had a pet with me and he just nodded his head. I was tired and wasn't going to attempt to communicate any further with him (at this point he was yelling on the phone in a foreign language). When we got to our room, it smelled musty and smoky. I chalked it up to us saving some $$ by staying here instead of the alternative. During our night we took our dog out for walks 2 times. We took her out once again in the morning before we went down for "breakfast". No one ever said anything to us about her. When we were leaving, walking out he door, a guy with no shoes on, no name-tag, no uniform starts yelling at us. Partially in English but mostly in a foreign language. Told us we weren't allowed to have a dog on the 2nd floor. He chased us out to our vehicle still yelling. 20 minutes later he calls and leaves a threatening voice message and charged my card $240.

Very bad smoke smell in the halls and eating area.

Beds were comfortable but hotel staff and room conditions left much to be desired. Our room initially had the refrigerator door open with two wet towels inside. I asked for a new room but the staff insisted on looking at the refrigerator to try to fix it while we were still in the room. When I refused and asked for a new room they apologized and told me to make due. Room also had a water spot above the shower from the room above. Ceiling plaster kept falling off while we were showering and when our upstairs neighbors used their shower the spot started to leak profusely. The bolt on our hotel door was also broken. Would be a nice hotel with some maintenance.

To say that I was concerned about my safety as well as that of my vehicle at this particular hotel would be an understatement. This hotel is located right off of two major thoroughfares and the amount of "entrepreneurs" in the area is overwhelming. If one wanted a cracked out prostitute or crack itself, it wouldn't take more than a Wal out the front door. The odor in the hallways smelled of urine. Was not sure if I wanted to actually crawl under the covers of the bed, was afraid to see what may lay beneath. The appliances in the room were cracked, broken and dirty. Communicating with the staff was quite the challenge. I stayed at this exact place years ago and it seemed to be clean and well run, I cannot say that today. Pay the extra money and stay somewhere in Mankato, not the North Mankato area. Sometimes it just pays to pay the little extra.

Everything went very good. Good Value. Clean Motel. Good Service.

This room was better than I expected for the price. The hotel was clean and everything worked. It is a budget hotel so my expectations were very low and they beat them! I didn't have a chance to check out the pool but for the price, I would recommend this place.

Overall the hotel was a decent experience. Hot tub was cold but otherwise hotel was good. Did not like how smoking and non smoking rooms were mixed together. Made for smokey hallways

Mankato is pretty far out of town so dont expect the ritz but for a rural mn hotel this place was nice.

A little noisy. Could hear door slamming at end of hallway and floor creaked from upstairs occupant.

My biggest complaint about this hotel was the bed. The mattress was only about 6 inches high and it was hard. Everything else was typical of a room in this price range. It had a microwave, fridge, comfortable recliner chair. I wasn't aware that this was a "pet friendly" hotel-- when we checked into our room at approx. 10:45pm on a Fri night our next door neighbor's yappy dog barked non-stop. We ended up going to the hotel hot tub (very large) for 45min to escape the dog and when we returned the barking had stopped. We never talked to the staff re: the dog so I can't comment on how it would have been handled.

There was an awful recliner in our room that was hard to getto recline and could not be derecline unless you kicked it. otherwise everything else was ok.

This wasn't a great place to stay but for the money, I guess what we got was expected. Room was nothing more than ordinary. The door would not latch shut without a shove. The beds were old. Laughed when we noticed the TV was an old tube set! There was a "hum" on every channel. The bathroom was so small you couldn't shut the door without standing on the toilet or in the tub, and the shower was strong enough to remove skin. We weren't able to receive new clean towels for our second night stay; there wasn't enough to go around ??? The pool satisfied my 14 year old boy and the place was pet friendly without extra fees, Plus!

The room was so smoky that we had to use indutrial strength deodorizer at the front desk and slep with the windows open and the vent blasting. There were no options for transfer. My throat is still burning two days later.

We went to Bike the River Ramble. Our stay was pleasant.

Walking in the lobby as well as the hallways smell like smoke. One room was accidently a smoking room. They didn't even try to get another room. I can't breath well in a smoking area. All our clothes had to be washed when we got home. Also the floor had iron burn marks in it. The hair dryer was dangerously broken. A seriuosly needed to up grade any smoking room! I didn't think there was the choose for smoking. All public area in our City is non smoking even sidewalks.
