Second time at this Hotel & GREAT experience both times. Only other suggestion is to have a bit more hot breakfast available on the weekends! Eggs one morning were gone & told they had no more, but breakfast serves for another hour or so. Definitely will stay there again!! Love the pool & got tub.

If this hotel was updated I would have given it a higher rating. The furnishings in the rooms are pretty worn. Our bathroom was not the cleanest and the kitchen stove looked pretty dirty. I did like the room set up with two separate bedrooms and a sitting area with a pullout couch. The full size refrigerator with a freezer was nice. The breakfast area needs to have more seating. Very crowded space in the morning rush.

The stay and room were very good. Breakfast was one of the better ones we've had in a stay. We wanted to watch baseball game in Lobby with friends and the desk clerk was not very friendly. He said he need to close lobby but not sure why when there were people checking in. We were very quiet so not sure what the problem was.

This hotel has many advantages. It is far enough away for peace and quiet yet close enough to enjoy what Mankato has to offer. The room was spacious and had everything you need. The breakfast left a little to be desired.

We were in town for the State softball Tournament and this was one of the hotels that still had rooms available. The pool was really small and not much area for sitting around the pool. At one point there were 21 kids in the pool splashing and jumping and I was soaking wet just trying to keep an eye on my daughter. The rooms are nice sized and the bed was comfortable. It was nice to have a kitchen in the room. I would have liked to see paper towels and dish soap in the room to be able to was dishes by hand. Dishwasher didn't do a good job cleaning the dishes. Breakfast was good and had several nice choices.Good location.

Clean comfortable hotel with a great room. Friendly and helpful staff. I couldn't ask for more. I've stayed here for the last several years and will continue to stay here when I'm in the area.

I made my decision to choose this hotel solely based on the fact that there was a freezer. Yup that's right- the freezer. I had to be away from my nursing baby for one of the two nights I stayed and being able to pump and freeze milk was my number one priority. The service was great - Ashley was very helpful at the front desk and the housekeeping was wonderful to interact with as well. I loved staying in a suite without paying the big bucks for it. It was home away from home. The pool was nice. And having a backyard was another added bonus. I also appreciated that it was close to the mall, but tucked away enough to be away from the craziness as well. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to call home away from home.

We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the room. One small thing that stood out that normally isn't provided in motel rooms, was the DVD player. Everything was clean and comfortable. Price was reasonable compared to other motels in the area.

The pool was very small and the jets were not working in the hot tub. Otherwise it was very clean and staff was friendly. The kitchenette was great.

We chose this hotel, because the studio rooms had lots of space, a fridge and sink for our family, as we went skiing that night and then relaxed in the pool and hot tub and ate our supper in that spacious kitchen. I think there was even a DVD player!

The hotel was great. Easy to get to, easy to park. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Will stay there again.

Our stay was wonderful. We only stayed one night. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was beautiful and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The kids really enjoyed the pool and the exercise room was equipt with an elliptical for my morning workout. Only complaint is that the hot tub was broke down. They were working on it as we were leaving. The continental breakfast was nice, didn't have much for fruit though. Great location, shopping, restaurants, and wowzone are all within minutes.

Room and kitchenette clean. Pullout bed mattress had a stain, but not a big deal. Staff was great. We got there late and room was held. They also allowed us late check out. Will stay again.

The room was average, breakfast was pretty limited. It's ok if you're just staying a night or two... but I couldn't imagine staying longer. The hallways were noisy, children running around everywhere... I think there were families living there from what I could tell...

I was struggling looking for a room available this stay and took a chance at the Grand Stay. Living so far away with a daughter in college I will continue to stay here. Big room, nice breakfast and about 1 to. 2 miles from anything else you may want or need. Beds were compfey!! Fair price and all parking is excellent parking.

The room was great and clean, breakfast was good. Staff at front desk was poor to average - rather unprofessional.

The evening coffee was lukewarm and tasted awful. We forgot our toothpaste and when we asked at the front desk whether they had a complimentary tube, the clerk snapped that we could purchase around the corner in the vending machine. It was $2.75 in the machine for a toothbrush that had a small tube of toothpaste. When we pulled out the couch for sleeping, it had no sheets. When we called down to the desk, they told us where there were and that we could "just make it up". If I wanted to make a bed I would have stayed home. Morning coffee ran out and I had to ask for more brought out. It was hot but tasted terrible.

The room was nice and homey and didn't scream "hotel room," which made it more relaxing for the frequent traveler. In ours, you walked into an open 1/3 kitchenette and 2/3 living room, with a separate bathroom and separate bedroom on the left. The one table/desk/prep area separating the kitchenette and living room was nice and long, but there was only one desk/kitchen chair, and no living room coffee table, so it was difficult for more than one person to eat at once. Further, the one chair was swivel, so it would not have worked for a small child. For one adult, it would have been a great set up. The living room contained a small 2-person couch and one armchair - so a family of 3 could watch TV; a 4th would have to sit on the kitchen/desk chair. There was a separate TV in the bedroom. The bed could be more comfortable, but was okay for one night. The bathroom had a nice really large mirror and a nice long countertop with the sink on one end rather than in the middle, which was nice. The breakfast spread contained eggs, bagels, yogurt, biscuit and gravy, juice, and coffee. Perhaps more, but that's what my husband brought up. Our room was on the 2nd floor near the pool area, so in the living room, the noise was loud and constant, but in the bedroom, it could not be heard. We had some significant housekeeping issues, but the management responded promptly and satisfactorily.

During visit last year, we opened our hotel door only to find a guy sleeping on the couch. We went to front desk to complain and change rooms. Apparently it was a hotel staff member taking a catnap. Another family member was locked out of their room 2x. This year we booked a double room suite and the hotel tried to switch us to a double bed suite. The front desk guy blamed third party booking though it was clearly printed on our order. Come to find out the hotel was overbooked on double room suites and simply flipped people into the smaller room without telling them. The location and accommodations are great but we will have to find a different hotel next time because of management/staff/overbooking policy

Very courteous staff. Easy check in! Pet friendly!
