I stayed at the Travelodge Valencia Airport this past week and would thoroughly recommend it. I was most impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at check in and through out my stay. The close proximity of the hotel to both the Rosas Metro station and the airport were also big pluses. The room was extremely clean and the bed very comfortable.
The chain group offer their usual high standards. Nice to experience home from home. I would not want to stay anywhere else in Spain a good English hotel showing the Spanish how things need to be done.
A simple, comfortable room in a big hotel, friendly reception staff, very convenient for the airport. The Metro station is just outside the hotel door. Opposite the hotel there is a bar where we had very good breakfasts of fresh orange juice and toast.
Well located, just one stop on the metro from the airport, so ideal for early or late flight times. The metro station (Rosas) on lines 3, 5 & 9 is right outside the hotel's main door. Hotel rooms are basic, but clean & comfy. The breakfast was fab with a good selection of hot & cold choices but note that it starts at 8am on weekends. If you have an early flight a continental breakfast is served from 5am. Hotel is on a street with tapas bars and a large supermarket so plenty of choices for eating and the hotel itself has a snack bar serving pizzas etc. There are also vending machines available. Parking is provided under the hotel at a charge of €6 a night and pets are allowed at an additional charge of €20. Staff are very friendly and speak English
Swift check-in process The rooms are very tiny, not much space available. Ok for one night Dog accepted: 20 Euro Underground parking available Convenient location close to airport and metro station ROSAS
Its a travel lodge and its by the metro. Can't go wrong with this place. Nice bed, great air con, nice quiet neighbourhood. Would recommend without hesitation. The metro tickets are confusing though, make sure you buy an a amd b ticket if your going into valencia as you travel through 2 zones and no one tells you this and there is no notices about this either.
First of all, there is no good reason to stay near the airport in Valencia. You can get from the city centre to the airport in about 15 minutes and you can find much better hotels in the city centre for the same price or less. The worst things about this hotel is that they use cot beds that are incredibly uncomfortable. If the whole point of near the airport is to get a good night's sleep before a flight, we'll then this is the worst option possible. The room was so bad that despite not being able to get my money back, I left and booked a second room downtown. The are also super dark and resembles cheap collage residence buildings. I would avoid this place!
We stayed here after our flight was delayed. So we only stayed for one night from 12am-11am. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was everything you’d expect from a travel lodge. The bed was quite firm, the air con was average and there was one set of towels.
I will give maximum rating because: -we made the reservation via booking.com where the check in time is 15:00. We got the room at 13:00 -the hotel is right outside the metro station -the receptionists are incredibly kind and nice -room is spotless, impecably clean, also the hotel, în general -we didn't mind there's no closet to store out clothes. The hotel is designed for short stays. There are some hangers which we used. -the bed is really comfy and there are 4 pillows. -close to the airport. -good price
The location of the hotel was close to the airport. The room was tiny and contained the smallest single beds that I have ever seen in a hotel. They were very narrow and more like children's beds. There was only an under-sheet and a single sheet on top and only one blanket on the shelf for the 2 beds to share, so one person got cold throughout the night. There was only a hanging unit and small desk and plastic chair in the corner and 2 beds. No bedside tables and just a tiny alcove on each side of the beds that was only big enough for a single glass of water but there were no drinking glasses in the room either, just one flimsy plastic beaker in the bathroom. Nowhere to put a clock or medication that might be needed during the night and the only other area available was the plastic cover of a lighting unit above the headboard, that didn't seem safe to put glasses of water on or other liquids on. The bed linen was good quality but the beds were hard and had no softness to them. The room was very clean and the bath towels were good but there was only 1 hand towel between 2 people. Room 205 has a bright street light outside the window and the curtains were really short and only came down to the bottom of the window and allowed any light from outside, to flood in at the bottom of the curtains. This was compounded by the long mirror that was placed at 90º to the window and duplicated the light that came into the room. As we had to be up at 4 a.m., we didn't have a very good night's sleep but that wasn't just the fault of the room.
