We were visiting Valencia to see our daughter for her birthday who had been on a study abroad program. We selected Hotel Las Arenas Balneario Resort due to its proximity to the beach and it's on site pools. The Hotel was beautiful and clean, the views of the property and the Mediterranean Sea were stunning. The staff were friendly, informative, and accommodating. This was the perfect get away to celebrate our daughter and have some time to relax, and connect as a family.
The hotel is nice with beautiful beach and amazing health club and spa rooms were big and nice but the food at the Restuarant was very expensive even for breakfast I think it should be better considering it's a five star hotel
finally I've been there ! excellent welcome, room ready at 10am, huge buffet breakfast and very nice inside and outside spa. absolutely a place to see and stay in Valencia, close to the restaurants on the beach and with two outside pools, and private access to the beach.
We really enjoyed the our stay at this beautiful hotel . Our room was well presented and food was amazing. Every morning we were greeted with a smile when we went for breakfast, food was always fresh and nothing was too much trouble for the team who took good care of us. I would highly recommend this hotel!! I was celebrating my birthday and can honestly say, the customer service we received from every single staff member we came across was exceptional. Thank you very much and your team for make our stay so memorable :-)
Enjoyed great hotel, pool and entertainment near the beach and port. Great facility and friendly service. Very nice spa and gym used by whole family. Good was also very good, as well as evening entertainment.
I have only been to Valencia once but I get the feeling I booked the best hotel. The weather was amazing and the hotel created an amazing setting with this beautiful property. There is a hop-on-hop-off bus stop opposite and you can get tickets from the front desk. If I am to suggest one thing it could do with then that would be a shop selling essential items. Otherwise it was a great break. I'm glad I picked a room with a balcony and feel this was a must. The breakfast was well run with a great variety. The swimming pools are good. I wasn't sure of the set up of the thermal spa though and didn't use it. I thought about playing tennis but found the cost didn't justify the potential fun as it wasn't proper tennis anyway and over 20 euros for an hour was just .......not worth it. The cocktails were pricey for what they were. Although I had to remind myself that it was a 5 star resort which comes at a cost. Overall though if I did visit Valencia again I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
Good hotel. Our second stay. It was better last year It started with booking. Booked same room as last year; same floor - because we liked the big terrasse. And the hotel confirmed this on email. However, when we arrived we were told that was impossible, the hotel could not reserve a room for us. So even thoughwe tried to argue we were in a not so polite way told that the only room available was in another floor; with much snakker terrasse Perhaps not a big deal, but still - the hotel had promised, in writing... Similarily, break is good, but the staff too often forgot giving us plate, kknife, fork etc Still a great hotel - perfectly located - but not 100 percent certain we will book it for next year
This hotel is the best I´ve ever stayed at. Just by the beach, nice pool area. The rooms were beautiful, at the bathroom fantastic. The room was always clean, as the cleaners went by probably 4-5 times a day. We had breakfast included, and it was great. Fresh orange juice, fruit, and everything you need. The service was great. The waitors were at the table with more juice or coffee the moment you finished your glas.
This is a very nice hotel with all the amenities: great pool, spa, restaurants/lounges, coffee bar, fountains, grand lobby, etc. Our room was perfect for this trip (but slightly small for the price overall). We enjoyed several afternoons at the pool, with a view of the beach and sea. The hotel is on the beach - so if you plan to go into downtown frequently, you're going to need car/taxi plans - there are always taxi's available right in front of this hotel. The concierge service was particularly good at Las Arenas - we were recommended a few restaurants that were excellent, and close by (walking distance) - one for traditional Valencian Paella, and the other for a 'fine dining' experience. We had researched some restaurants before our trip, and neither of these made out list, but both were great. Kudos to the concierge team at Las Arenas, and to the entire staff who helped make this a wonderful stay.
This hotel is expensive. The service is excellent; breakfast is huge; the pool is good and the beach is nearby. For a city trip it's a little more difficult ... you have to take buss, tram (and metro). To the city center with public transport is about 30 minutes. Taxi is possible (but not easy for group of 6 people) This hotel is great for a vacationfeeling and a small visit of the city. If only citytrip is important, we think it's better to book in the city (but you don't have beach or swimming pool). Hotel has bars, restaurants ... we prefered the local pubs and restaurants.
