Bedbugs...Bedbugs.... Bedbugs... Bedbugs... Did I mention that this place has bedbugs? I understand that accommodation gets bedbugs, but my friend was bitten quite badly by them when she stayed there. However, they refused to help my friend. I e-mailed them and my friend spoke to them about about helping my friend with some medication and they REFUSED, despite it being a legal obligation to provide assistance in these circumstances. My friend had to go to another hostel and cancel their remaining nights without a refund. If they had simply paid for medication for my friend and refunded her for her remaining nights, I wouldn't have had a problem. However, if they don't want to provide any medication for my friend, which is a basic legal requirement, then you should avoid this place. Could you trust them to help you if you had something more serious? Probably not.

My partner stayed here for 2 weeks while waiting for me to arrive. Her stay was safe and comfortable in the women-only section. The included breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, toast, apple slices, and coffee. Her major complaint was with a self-centered roommate who insisted on silence while she slept all day. For an air-conditioned, safe facility with a women-only section, this is a very good place to stay.

BEST HOSTEL IN MANILA (and maybe anywhere)

Best hostel ever. I never leave reviews, but I LOVE this spot maybe more than any place that I've ever stayed. I've never stayed so long somewhere. I and other guests have taken side trips and return here. I haven't even left Manila because I like this hostel so much 1) The staff is AMAZING. I feel like some of them are almost cousins by the laughs and inside jokes that I and other guests share with them 2) We have a ridiculous 6-7 PM rooftop FREE UNLIMITED OPEN BAR. You can have a million drinks if you want (one at a time). This is why many of us don't even leave the building to party anywhere else. During my two weeks in Manila, I only left to party elsewhere ONE TIME and that was for the Super Bowl 3) Free breakfast on top that 4) The beds are comfortable. Most, if not all, of the dorms have bathroom ensuite. 5) All rooms have air conditioning 6) Free bottled water and occasional snacks 7) Delicious and cheap food at the rooftop restaurant 8) Strict armed doormen with surveillance cameras at the building entrance (this is somewhat normal in Philippines) 9) Impeccably clean: every day the staff works so hard to leave everything spotless 10) Common room with big screen TV 11) Games of all kind all over the property 12) Organized fun: music blares on the rooftop bar, but it ends at 1:30 AM and can barely be heard from the room. Right now, my bunkmates are peacefully snoring, and I have slept all day without being able to hear anything. Congratulations and thanks so much!

My bathroom was clean but lacking some toiletries until requested. The ventilation fan was too loud once being turned on. And no Internet was found in the room. However, the hotel location is just good. Plus, the staff members were helpful and friendly.

Good hostel for 1 night but no wifi in rooms!!!

Happy hour free drinks were nice but didnt make up for not having wifi in the room. In this day in age thar is criminal and just plane cheap. I would rather not drink and get wifi. They did upgrade me to a nice private room with shower though. Its decent but 0 vibe. Manila in general is not for backpackers

The roof top terrace communal area was a great place to sit and relax. The fact that there was a resteraunt and bar was an addes bonus. Loved the location as it was easy to get to other locations for sight seeing. We even made use of the onsite laundrette. Staff were super friendly and helpful and gave us great safety advice and recommendations of where to travel next in the Phillipines. Enjoyed it so much we booked additional nights.

basic hostel but no elevator. people are friendly and you would meet a lot of friendly backpackers staying. open bar everyday for 1 hour makes the hostel cool but i hope cleanliness should be maintained there were crawling bugs for my 4 nights stay.
