The service and attention of uniformed staff was outstanding. The room was large and comfortable with a sitting area and large bathroom. Outstanding quality. In room WIFI was slow and hit and miss but the in the restaurant was very fast and reliable. The hotel is a bit out of the way but staff readily arrange for taxi. Would definitely stay again.

We have stayed here 3 times, each for a night between flights! Every time we have had a lovely stay. The hotel staff are very accommodating and allowed us to use the facilities whilst waiting for our check in when we got an early flight in! The restaurant is really good, large variety at breakfast and really tasty food for lunch and dinner. The rooms are spacious and clean, maybe a bit outdated but that's just personal preference! The pool area is perfect for during the day. The hotel is well located for shopping malls and the airport! Overall a very good hotel and perfect for airport layovers!

We originally booked a premier room but got an upgrade to a suite room. The staffs were very friendly and accommodating(I forgot their names). Amenities include pool, gym & sauna and toiletries were also provided. They gave a welcome drink upon check-in. The drink was good but sweet for my own liking. The room was huge and really nice. Perfect for the three of us! Also if you will be bringing a car, its better if you check beforehand with the reception if there's available parking space. Overall experience was great!

Night duty guards have bad attitude and creates fear among the customer. There were 3 guards surrounding us when we are all in the lobby. The front desk staff, is very unapproachable. They treated us as guest who can't afford hotel accommodation. We were heavily guarded in our rooms and even when we are in the pool. We do not reccommend to spend your vacation in this hotel due to very poor service and unfriendly staff.

Spent one night at the Herald Suites for my transit to Palawan the next day. The pro is that the hotel is not far away from the airport. Without congestion, you could be at the airport in less than 15 minutes. Breakfast is decent and the staff is friendly. The con is that the hotel is in need of renovation. The sheets and bed are old. The air is stuffy in the hall way (poor ventilation).

Stayed for several nights on a business trip, friendly staff and decent rooms/facilities. Very Japanese orientated menu (which suited our group as we work for a Japanese company). Rooms and are clean and classic style rather than modern. Nicely stocked mini bar that wasn't too expensive. Air-con unit was noisy and rather disruptive to sleep. Very good Japanese food available close to the hotel as you are in the middle of Little Tokyo.

We booked this hotel last minute for our last night before heading home to the UK. It was conveniently close to the airport so perfect for us as we had enough of travelling. We loved our room, we were upgraded as there was no availability on the room I had booked. It was spacious clean and everything we would need for a night stay. We checked in on my husbands birthday and I had some spare cake going which I gave to the hotel staff not expecting anything in return but an hour later a group of staff knocked on the door with another cake and sung him happy birthday which was really sweet and would like to thank the staff for your personal touch on our 1 night stay. Staff were very friendly and very helpful as we had so much baggage. I can't fault the hotel, it's in the middle of a busy city so obviously you'll hear traffic all night. I would stay again.

Location is good as Makati is in the center of Manila but it is not located as Dusit Thani and other hotels just outside Glorietta / Ayala mall. We thank the hotel and their hospitality for making our stay a great one! Theres a pool with nice view of the Makati skyline and sauna + gym. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Herald Suites Solana and would highly recommend this hotel.

Booked this hotel through booking.com, then cancelled the next day due to my wife finding something else. This was several months before we visited so well within the cancellation policy. Received an email to confirm the cancellation and that there would be no charge. Hotel charged my credit card anyway and it is now proving difficult to get a refund of the money they should never have taken. Avoid!

This hotel is very nice and harkened back to another time when hotels had a lot more formality and pleasantries. Breakfast was good and served promptly. I appreciated that as I had 15 min to eat. I have no complaints but the street "finlandia" in an important byway and the morning rush hour traffic can be heard. I walked around the hotel and enjoyed exploring the local scene. There were a few homeless around the way but it was very much an easy going place. I walked to the Thai embassy and the MRT from the hotel. This part of the city is pretty grunge but it's a real part of the city.
