The apartment wasn’t terribly clean, especially the bathroom walls and hair embedded into the lounge carpet. More the issue, four months out we requested a quiet room on a high floor with a canal view, but this 4th floor apartment had a toilet door that wouldn’t shut -not great for romance. They were able to move us, but it was either a lower flooor with a canal view or a 5th floor without a canal view. We didn’t really understand as there were 10 floors of apartments. We asked for whichever was quieter, and they moved us up to 5 without the view. The apartment was right outside a construction zone, which started before 8am. We didn’t sleep well for our 2 night stay as a result. Additionally, there are flats being constructed across the street, and the lounges of la reserve apartments only have sheer curtains. Even if no one is living there yet, workers are present. Curtain upgrades should have been done as soon as the workers showed up.
