Appalling, never again
The property wasn’t ready when we arrived for 3pm, eventually ready at 5pm. When we arrived the fridge was not turned on so we could not refrigerate anything for several hours, the doors were left closed so when opened the fridge smelled awful & very unhygienic. Cutlery & utensils were rusty & in very poor condition. All the beds were broken in some way & extremely uncomfortable, no decent nights sleep were had by the 6 of us. 1 room had a burnt out extension lead. Dark coloured futon with unpleasant white stains all over. 1 room had a burnt hole on the carpet, broken/dented radiator. The downstairs bedroom had all sorts of stuff under the bed such as rubbish & mouldy food. The garden was very overgrown, unkept, rubbish everywhere. The piping from the bathroom had a massive hole in it so the water when showering spews all over the seating area. Toilet roll was not provided, only 1 per bathroom for 6 guests. Had to purchase our own. Only on arrival were told we had to top up the gas meter if we used more than £7 of the £12 provided. This was not disclosed on the listing on the website. The neighbours were fine but did ask us if we were the new neighbours which makes us wonder if they even know the place is being rented out. General condition of the property was very disgraceful, we expected much more for the price we paid.
