The place is not at all what we were sold, we arrive to the place nobody to help, we then checked the place, the pool was really dirty you could almost not see through the water, definitely not a pool I want to go in with my 9 months old daughter. The living room was full of dead insects, the counter was dirty, the bed sheets had stains all over. It look like they did not care whether someone was coming to stay there. We finally decided not to stay there and on our way out we met the owner, which I then asked why things were like that, she them started denying everything, and the first thing she said was: "we will not give you your money back!" We tried everything, we called booking.com to help us (they were very helpful) they then called the owner, and they flipped out to booking.com dying the they'll never refund the money. Honestly we jut wanted a nice relax week in there, but this place is just a scam, do not book with them, read the reviews people! DONT FALL FOR IT!!!!!!!!

When I booked this room, we though that it was a villa, per the property description in Booking.com. No one told us it was a house with rented rooms. There is a communal kitchen, dining and living room. Just like a kommunalka. The room was fairly clean and the bed was fairly comfortable. Convenient that it had a mini fridge and a microwave in each room and the A/C worked properly. The space will depend on the room chosen. Our party had two rooms. The room for 4 people was small and the bathroom was super small. The two people room was a bit more spacious. There is a big dog around the property and a cat. While I have nothing against animals, I have small and allergic kids so I did not felt comfortable with big dogs that I don't know around, even when is a good dog. The animals smell can be felt around the house and if you open the door, don't be surprised the dog is in your door. The TV with "cable" does not work properly. Our TV had frozen images and after a while the screen turned black so you have to turn it off and turn it on to see if you can see something of the very basic channels they offered. The pool was nasty! While it is an appropriate size for the house, it was dirty all the time we were there. Our kids wanted to go until they realized themselves it was not suited for swimming. The second day of our stay, we went to the beach and when we came back, there was no water!!! When we were about to leave the place, someone turned on the water, and we were able to shower. The only truth about the description of the property is that it offered free parking because other than that, it is not what you would expect. I agree with the other reviews that a contact person or an "in charge property manager" is hard to reach. I would never stay there again, but I suggest a charge of $30 a night to stay there.

The worst experience I have ever had. My husband and I booked the master bedroom for one night. In order to book a room, we showed up at the property since the phone number listed online was not working. The person cleaning the property instructed me to call the property Owner. I booked the master room over the phone, I show up in the evening only to find that the light fixtures didn't work and the AC didn't work. The Owner instructed the person looking after the place to relocate us to a different room. Needless to say, the second room was not what we paid for. I complained about the cleanliness of the room and the Owner hung up the phone on me after saying that these conditions are to be expected because the property is located on the 'country side'. There was poop on the bed and on multiple spots on the floor. We were relocated to a different room and the conditions were exactly the same but with the addition of cockroaches. The Owner was the most disrespectful person I have ever dealt with. She yelled over the phone, she mentioned more than once that she did not care about our experience, that the property is always in perfect condition and that she had no intention on refunding our money. I asked her a few times to please listen to our concerns and to talk to the person looking after the property since he could confirm the condition of the rooms. She hung up again. My husband and I expressed our frustrations to the guy in the property and left. It's worth mentioning that we never lost our cool and remained extremely professional in our conversation with the Owner and the guy at the property. She was so disrespectful. She called us liars and said that if we wanted our money back, we should plead the case with our bank (whatever that means), Hours later, we get a text from the Owner saying that she would refund the money since she saw pictures of the rooms. She said she thought I was exaggerating and she blamed her staff. She never apologized for the manner in which she spoke to us and mistreated us. I would advise anyone reading this to stay as far away from this place as possible. This place is not worth your money and the Owner is not worth your time. The pictures attached show the conditions of the rooms in the lower floors. It was disgusting.

A little more depreciated than the beautiful pictures the web site shows. We arrive at the place around 10:30 PM as we indicate on the reservation. The place was open but there was no one in reception. We called the phone number that indicated the reservation and it was disconnected. We can get another phone number on the website and call several times without any response. When we were about to leave the place, we received a call from the property manager (I guess). He explained where the key was with the code to get it, and we were finally able to enter the room. There is not a 24-hour front desk as they ad. The room was clean, but they only left one towel for my wife and me. The next day we arrived late in the night, exhausted from an activity that we attended. To our surprise there was no water on the property. We texted the person who had contacted us and he told us that there was a reserve tank that was off, that they would turn-on in the morning. Overall, I expected a bit more than the ad indicate. First time I use this place, and last time I will use it. In July I have to be in this area for several days, and I will spend time finding something better.

I have to admit I was a little skeptical of booking when I read the reviews from previous guests on this page, but after seeing more positive feedback on other booking websites I decided to give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised to find how clean and well-appointed the room was. I stayed in the one that has a balcony facing the pool, which I found to be very comfortable. The lady who owns the place is very nice, she made me coffee every morning and gave us tips on where to eat and shop. Found some amazing deals in the outlet mall close by. The facilities of this villa are sleek and modern, very minimalistic. When I visited I didn't find any out-of-place boxes or anything, maybe that was a one-time occurrence? The pool is bigger and nicer than the one at the Hyatt, so that's a plus! Not to mention since the property is so small you pretty much have it to yourself the whole time. The area is a little secluded, but the beach really is just 6-7 minutes away and there are bars and restaurants within short driving distance as well. I would recommend any traveler used to airbnb type vacations to give this a shot, it is much nicer than most shared space options on there!

I went to Manati World Point last year with My Partner and even when i can think the same way of many of the advisers here because i saw it and felt the mattress, I could say that it was a good experience. Don't blame Gladys the owner. Blame the promotion world of Business. She's so polite and cool. Manati World Point it's not yet a Hotel. Its just a house where you can stay as if it were your own. Don't expect to find servers or restaurants like in a hotel. I tell you the good things of Manati World Point in comparison to Hyatt. Pool is much better. Hyatt Pool is small and has a view to a mall parking...Cars could park in front of you while you are taking the sun. You have to make check in and out in specific hour while in Manati World Point you check in as early as you want in the morning and check out as late as you want... there will be no bell sound or call telling you have to leave. You just leave the key over the counter and go... Its Like spending the weekend in Glady's House. A house that is still under construction with the very particular situation that could have any person with a big house and a pool not being rich. So Manati World Point is not for rich people. Its a cool house to stay and pretend to be rich while planning to visit the area beaches and the coast, even when its not so near to beaches. So... Maybe the prices are not worth at all but if you are free spirit and adventurer you'll have fun in a place where nobody is watching...

This Place has a lot of potential but is Poorly managed and needs a lot of work. Looks nothing like the pictures. Definitely photo shop pics. Still has a lot of areas under construction. The only plus is that it was close to Mar Chiquita. One of beds in The room we got had a foam instead of mattress. U could feel the woods of the box spring. We asked the owner Gladys to replace the foam and all we got were excuses and never got a real mattress. We asked her to get us one from one of the empty rooms and she didn't accommodate. The bathroom was unfinished. No soap dish, or hooks / towel racks to hang the towels. The room has nowhere to put your clothes only a small closet by the entrance door. The refrigerator in the room was not working when we checked in. The owner told us she would fix it the next morning...never happened. The room was never cleaned during the day nor did they bring clean towels, or took the trash out. We even had to ask for additional toilet paper and soap. There was only one roll in the room when we got there. The pool hot tub was not working. The gazebo was unfinished. She has three loud guacamayos outside making noise morning and day. Luckily They are quiet at night. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone I know. Nor would I stay here again. The owners are way over their heads managing this place. Properly managed and with some work it can be an ok place to stay.

This place have a lot of potential, the house is beautiful if need a lots of works in the pool, the patio area and the surroundings. The pool was not clean properly, the Gazebo in the patio needs works. We had the 4 people room and although it was clean the shower in the bathroom was not and the AC was not working properly. But I think the biggest problem this place have is the booking process. We were a group around 12, with 4 different reservations and all the were wrong. So I think that if they fix the things in the house and they are more responsible with the reservations this could be a great place to stay, but until that my recommendation is stay somewhere else.

I will not recommend this facility to anyone. Although the home is nice, there is still much to be added to make this place tourist-friendly. We spent a good hour searching for the house since local people had no idea there was a hotel in this countryside. No sign, no lights and it was more like a room for rent in a scary dark place, definitely not a hotel. My sister had a severe fall in the bathroom due to the negligence of the owner Gladys who did not secure and caulk the sink to the sink pedestal. She admitted this to us. We spend the entire morning in the emergency room of a nearby hospital. The owner refused to refund part of the $130 we paid for the night despite not having any water to shower or to brush our teeth that morning. Luckily we had bottled water. She didn't even care my sister had a huge lump on her head from the fall. Do yourself a favor and spend a few more dollars and stay at the Manati Hyatt Place instead. Manati World Point is a disaster and way in the boonies. Construction all over the place. The photos featured were definitely photoshopped.

My wife and I were very excited about spending the last night of our honeymoon on the island relaxing at this establishment. The listing made this place look and sound like paradise! The property was very difficult to locate as the directions generated from the booking email weren't accurate at all. After wandering aimlessly for 45 minutes we finally made contact with the host Gladys who was friendly and guided us to the location. We were extremely disappointed when we finally arrived. The pictures and wording listed on the website present the property to be luxurious and pristine, but this is mostly the result of extensive photoshop editing and creative writing. There was no 'Manati World Point'. Just a house located at the end of a dirt road near a trucking business industrial park and directly next to a rundown mechanic shop. We passed three broken down vehicles being stored along the driveway. There was no prestige high class neighborhood, staff, security or scenery as advised in several of their listings. But we decided to overlook that and keep an open mind. Gladys initially had NO record of our reservation and was not expecting us. We finally were able to get that resolved. The kitchen was run down and could use a good cleaning. There were boxes piled up in the dining room. The room we initially booked (203) was nothing like the pictures as the furniture and decor were lackluster at best and photograph well with additional staging elements giving a false illusion of quality. Also there was door that opened up to a railing – no balcony. Gladys was quick to recommend another room downstairs as if she did not want us in that room for some reason so we agreed to look at it. We passed the pool area on the way. There yard around the pool was cluttered with buckets of pool chemicals and cleaning supplies, a huge bird cage and other objects – nothing like the pictures. The minute we entered the room our jaws dropped with shock. The furnishings looked like they were purchased at a yard sale; mismatched and extremely dated. The beds were very hard, one was broken, the linens were dingy and appeared unwashed, the walls were dirty, missing tiles on the base board area, a/c unit was placed in a hole that was cut after the fact creating a large gap leading outside. The floor was scattered with numerous animal or rodent droppings and some dead insects. We also found droppings on top of the desk, under the beds and cabinets - which told me that 35 dollar cleaning fee is not going toward its intended use. The bathroom was very small, unlike the pictures and equally disgusting - as dead bugs, droppings and filth were generously spread in there as well. NO chance my wife and I were staying in these conditions. We spoke with Gladys about our concerns and she politefully played it off as normal mountain life in Puerto Rico and claimed the room had been cleaned just that morning which was clearly false. When asked if there were any clean rooms we could switch out for - she said that all the rooms in the house would have the same issue - leaving us no other option than to leave. She told us that we would have to contact the rental agency that took our reservation for a refund and that she was not responsible for the cleaning of the rooms or wording and pictures used in the listings. We had to get a room at the nearby Hyatt Place. We contacted Sea To Country Rentals (property managers) and explained our disappointments with the misrepresentation of the listing and the condition of the property and requested a refund, but they were uncooperative and made excuses justifying the conditions. They shouldn't promote a place of luxury when it's clearly not even close. It turns out the different rental agencies that represent this property are fictitious and use email address from Go Daddy. Please avoid, if not you'll be sorry. Pictures and video available to anyone that needs further proof!
