I liked the location. I didn’t like that there was used Kleenex under the bed from who know when. The the tub was dirty when I arrived. The “king suite”had a jacuzzi tub in the picture but no jets do it was a large bathtub for two. There was just enough hot water to fill the tub bot after that there wasn’t enough hot water to take a shower after. The breakfast was just a few breakfast bars milk and expired orange juice. I had to ask for someone to refill my breakfast food if I didn’t they wouldn’t refill it. Just an all around let down. I’ve stayed at a ton of spots each year and I would rate this place at the bottom. Oh and don’t confuse this place with mammoth inn. That’s the real place this is a bootleg mammoth inn.
Had to cancel - Fighting with Insurance to get refund.
I'm sure this is a great property that's why we picked it to stay there for vacation but due to a medical issue we had to cancel the day of check in. Bought cancellation insurance and are now fighting with insurance company to get a full refund, have to jump through multiple hoops and tons of documentation instead of just doing the right thing on their part
No-frills Hotel-like property, close to everything
Check-in was easy - the host left clear instructions inside the lobby area and by text. The unit itself was no-frills but comfortable. The was furnished with a king bed which was ok, but I've been spoiled by my own bed. There was a mini-fridge with snacks items and beverages. Milk was included, which was nice for the Keurig-type coffee machine in the room. The bathroom was very nicely appointed, with a deep and large soaking tub and stand-up shower. A limited amount of linens were provided, but each morning the house-keeper was on site and happily provided extra linens and better yet, K-cups. Parking was adequate, though 2 nights out three I had to park in the adjacent alley. No big deal. Photos of the common kitchen are a bit misleading - there was no coffee machine or water jug there, and the fridge was locked most of the time, but again, the housekeeper on site gave us access. Overall, considering the nightly rate, the property was on par with reasonable expectations. Definitely worth considering.
Reading all the reviews I was skeptical in this property; however, I anticipated contacting the property manager ahead of time and it was too easy... I was there for 4 nights and read that there was no one to clean the rooms (false, they cleaned my room on day 2 without notice... sweet) they even refilled my coffee... only thing was the jets in the tub didn't turn on...but it was perfect sitting in a hot tub after boarding hard... I'd come back again for sure.
