The staff are very friend and try and help you in any possible way. The complex is clean and there is air conditioning in every bedroom and also in the kitchen. A great pool area with a view of the sea. Shops and bus terminals are in walking distance very good location.
We are just back from a week in Sunseekers. We stayed in Room 007, it's on ground floor with a huge terrace, no sea view but that didn't matter. Room was big enough for four of us, adults used the fold out sofa bed in the main area, fully fitted kitchen in this apartment. The rooms were very clean & looked well maintained. The A/C worked very well considering outside temps in past week were 36-38 Celsius. Lift direct from rooms to roof terrace pool & cafe/bar area. Pool area had plenty of sun beds, pool was big enough for all that used it. The hotel lobby & bar are were also nice & fresh. Staff were all very friendly. Beer €2.50 a pint ,Wines €1.90 for a small bottle , extremely good value. The complex is up a quiet street only minutes walk away from the hussle of Bugibba Bay Square with plenty of shops & restaurants nearby. Overall a great place to stay, we will be back & we would highly recommend the Sunseekers as a place to stay.
Couldnt have asked for a better hotel in Malta. Staff were so friendly, stunning roof top pool and the bedrooms were spacious and clean. Only advise would be to request a room with a sea view. It makes all the difference.
We booked the Sunseeker based on a recommendation and we are so glad we did ! It really is a fabulous place to stay. We had apartment A7 (We were a groups of 4 adults and 2 children) which overlooks the front of the hotel. Don't let that put you off (not having a sea view etc) as the apartment was great. Three large bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large kitchen, dining, lounge area, double balcony with washing line and seating for 6. The on-site shop was brilliant, there is a large supermarket within a short distance (Trolleys/Carrefour) but we bought all the essentials on-site. The lady is the shop is the nicest, friendliest lady who was always great to talk to. They sell books in the shop for €1 each and there was a massive selection. I took 8 books with me and left (donated) the 6 that I read to the shop to sell. Next time I go I will just buy some from the shop. The rooftop pool was perfect for our 8yr old twins, not too big or too small. The rooftop terrace has the most amazing views across the town to the left and the sea in front. We preferred the higher level sun terrace (which is above the cafe) and accessed by a spiral staircase. The views from up there are just amazing and you get a lovely breeze coming in off the sea. The cafe is where you have breakfast which we did on occasion. €5 per person. There was a choice of cereal, toast, teas and coffee, juice and a cooked breakfast. Definitely great value for €5!. This is also where you can buy hot drinks, cold soft drinks, beer and ice creams during the day and they have a snack/lunch menu too. Toasted sandwiches, chips, omelettes, burgers etc - we ordered a few times and the food was really nice. There is a toilet and a shower up on the roof too - both kept very clean. The indoor pool is nice and quiet, a good size and really cool when you really need a refreshing dip or a chill out on a lounger somewhere a bit quieter. There are 2 lifts so you don't have to trudge up the stairs to the roof, a large reception area with comfy seating where we accessed the free WI-FI and a small bar (all air conditioned). The single best thing about Sunseeker though is the staff. Neville, Claire, George and the whole team are so friendly, willing to chat and offer help and advice. I really cannot praise them enough. We felt like family from the moment we arrived. Nothing at all was too much trouble for anyone. Regarding our room, there is more than enough hanging and drawer space in each room. the bedrooms all had A/C (heaters out of season) and ceiling fans. The bed linen was changed very regularly, as were the towels. There are shower gel dispensers in the bathrooms which we will remember next time we book. The beds were REALLY comfortable, we all slept brilliantly! The TV had limited channels, but we only watched BBC world, the kids channels (cartoons alternate between English and German) and the single movie channel. There was a fridge freezer which was more than big enough for our beer, water and self catering supplies. There was ample crockery and cutlery and saucepans etc. We always pack (as experience has taught us over the years) a good small sharp knife and scissors and we are glad we did as there weren't any scissors and we used our own paring knife more than the two large knives provided. There was absolutely no noise problem being at the front of the hotel or noise from the seafront (the hotel is very close to the sea and shops) and it was nice people watching from the balcony. You are really close to the centre of Bugibba, just turn left and left again out of the complex. There are so many places to eat and a nice selection of shops. The staff are very knowledgeable and we often asked for recommendations for places to eat / visit. I really do highly recommend Sunseeker. This was our first abroad holiday in 10 years and the first abroad trip with our 8 yr old twins. They had a wonderful holiday and like us can't wait to return.
Stayed here for 10 days and would definitely return. The apartment was well equipped and the pool was perfect. Having the little mini mart on site is fab, and the location is great, only 5 minutes to shops and restaurants. Only downside is the games room needs fixing - put some money in the pool table and it didn't work!
I've just got back from a week staying at The Sunseeker and can only praise it. It is immaculate throughout. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only downside was due to the heatwave more than anything else and that is that there weren't enough parasols per pair of beds which on some days left families with children unable to shade in the extreme weather Malta was experiencing. Would definitely go back and recommend to others. Thank you Sunseeker
Stayed as a family of 5 in an apartment for 3 nights. The rooms were clean and modern. The staff were really friendly and helpful. A good location for seeing the area and the hotel had additional facilities at hand.
Me and my partner stayed here for 4 nights for a wedding. The hotel is small and mostly clean and has everything you need. It's in a great location to get to many shops, bars and restaurants. Buggiba is a very touristy location. A visit to Valletta is a must. The pool is small and was in need of a clean but other than that was great for our few days away. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Loved it! It isn't a luxury resort of course, but instead you get a cosy hotel with great involved staff that notices you :) I would always prefer this above the big crowded fancy hotels. We felt really comfortable here. I can't think of anything negative. The cleaning, breakfast, swimming pool, mini market, etc etc etc were all good. The location is also excellent, right next to the sea! Bugibba is a touristic place of course, but from this area it's easy to explore Malta and Gozo so the tourist vibe in Bugibba didn't bother us at all. When you come back in the evening from your excursions and trips, there are plenty of restaurants to choose from to end your day. Anyway: if we come back to Malta it will definitely be in Sunseeker again! Thanks a lot!
We stayed at the Sunseeker Holiday Complex for 2 weeks from 29th June until 13th July 2017. We've stayed here twice before as a couple but this was our first time with our little girl who is just under 2 years old. We have always had a great time and we always recieve a very friendly welcome and excellent service. However, this time somehow it was even better! Everyone was fabulous with our little one, the rooms have all been rennovated to a high standard since our last visit, the air con is brilliant and included, everything you could need is available and the hotel is in a great location. We booked a 2 bedroom self catering apartment which was lovely, it had 2 large bedrooms, a modern bathroom, a large modern kitchen / dinning room / sitting room, a separate smaller sitting area off the main bedroom, 2 patios - 1 larger one with chairs and a table and a smaller one for hanging out washing. It was genuinely perfect with plently of room for our little girl to play safely and very quiet for uninterrupted sleep. The pool area, pool cafe, mini mart and laundrette are great facilities. We honestly couldn't recommend this lovely family run hotel in a great location any more! Thank you to the owners and all the staff we had a brilliant holiday, see you next time we're in Malta!
