We liked the location The pool We hated the food The food was horrible

Our ocean view suite was worth the extra money! It was spacious with 2 balconies. The view was amazing. The check- in process was smooth. The breakfast buffet was good but the dinner was not that great. The hotel was clean and I would definitely stay again!

The biggest issue for us was the heat, we were placed on 6th floor, in a sea view room, we got up there and the room was extremely muggy, the entire floor was. We tried to turn the air on in our room, we found out they shut it off during the winter, this meant any sort of fan as well, we figured we will just sleep with our window open. Not having a screen on the window was great till afternoon hit, our room filled with mosquitos, we spent an hour trying to free our room of them, We found 7 other dead mosquitos that were smashed into the ceiling from the visitors before us. We didn’t sleep much. There is also no ventilation system in the bathroom, the only form of venting is small holes on the bottom of the door in the bathroom.. you guessed it, to the bedroom. be it steam or odor, the only exit is into the bedroom which also has no way to get aired out. We went all inclusive, we found it was extremely limited, they have what looks to be a large set up but you find repeats of the same dishes in a lot of the serving stations. Dinner changed each night and then on the 3rd night would go back to something they already had. We stayed for 10 nights and saw 3 different dinner options. The indoor pool was filled with children yelling, all about age 3-6 despite kids under 13 not being allowed in, the hot tub is tiny, it fits 3 adults comfortably and has a max capacity of 4. It was cold as well; we got in for a minute but it was cooler than the pool and also full with kids.

Julian the front office manager is a total class act along with the entire staff they have taken care of me time after time. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Please keep up the good work. I spend my life referring people to amazing destinations around the world and Seashells is one of my very top choices. Dr Amy Valentino

A big thanks for the rating and very encouraging comment. Indeed, the sea view suites have fantastic views as they are the nearest to the sea and have unobstructed views. We send our best regards.

We thank you for reviewing our hotel. The air conditioning is not turned off any time of the year, however as it is still winter the temperature is set on heating - this is very likely the reason your room was hot - it would have been better if you talked to us and we would have explained. There are two timings during the day when children are allowed - you were probably going there during these timings. For the rest of the day the indoor pool is for adults only. We hope the rest of your stay in Malta was up to your expectations.
