Nice facilities and food but room needs refurb.
Stayed here about 20 years ago and nice to see that they've clearly spent some money refurbishing the place. There were a lot of things that I couldn't fault, the breakfast/rooftop pool and bar as well as rooms on other floors which looked nice and new and clean. Unfortunately, the room we were put in wasn't one of the refurbished rooms so looked pretty tired, the shower wasn't best and the bathroom had a funny smell of drains. Outside of the room, we had a very pleasant stay so it wouldn't put me off going back. I'd just want to make sure I was in one of the newly finished rooms instead or, hopefully, they find the time to do the rest of the rooms (like the one we stayed in) up the same.

Poor facilities, cheap alcohol. Good waiting staff, awful receptionist staff, location is good. Building still going on. First room was opposite a building site and we were woken at 6am with loud noises. The second room had single beds but they didn't make it into a double bed despite repeated requests. Awful hotel experience overall.

Hotel was fantastic staff and facilities first class,if I had anything to moan about could of done with more coffee/tea/milk in the room for a cuppa,only 2 milks was clearly never going to be enough and sadly one day they forgot to refill the items,but hey this seems a trivial thing to moan about in a stunning hotel,thank you x
