Our home is perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Whether you’re unwinding or getting ready for an adventure, this home is a cozy retreat on the Trout River. Malone and surrounding areas offer many adventures. Hiking Owls Head, golfing Malone Golf Course, mountain biking, fishing, ATV recreation, snowmobile the trails or ski Titus Mountain. We had an amazing stay at the Tressel House on Trout River! Norma was an excellent host from start to finish. She answered all of our questions quickly before arrival, gave detailed directions with a map pin, and made everything stress-free. She respected our privacy while still checking in to make sure we had everything we needed.The house was spotless, cozy, and fully stocked with everything you could think of — dishes, cookware, cleaning supplies, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and even travel-size toiletries if you forgot something. The king bed in the master suite was extremely comfortable, and both bedrooms had TVs with streaming apps available.One of our favorite parts was sitting on the back deck listening to the peaceful sound of the Trout River flowing by. The property is very private with no neighboring houses nearby, making it the perfect relaxing getaway.The homemade chocolate chip cookies waiting for us when we arrived were such a thoughtful touch and absolutely delicious!We would absolutely stay here again and have already recommended it to others. Highly recommend the Tressel House if you’re looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway!
