These were the largest rooms we stayed in on our trip. Very spacious. Very clean. Well-appointed. Nice big bathroom. Nice breakfast, but not as plentiful as others. We checked in very late at night and there was nobody at the front desk. We had to call a number and someone in Stockholm answered the phone and gave us instructions on how to get a key and where to park. Not sure what would happen if there was an emergency? If they had someone at the front desk and breakfast had had more options I probably would give them a five as a rating.
Booked in a standard queen room. Sparkling clean on checking in. Freshened up once a week unless you pay for extra cleaning. Bed was queens size with two sets of linen half the size of the bed. This made the bed area an eyesore. However, everything else spot on; you have iron and board, full kitchen equipment including dishwasher for longer stay; fridge; microwave; office deska nd chair; single seat couch and TV with predominantly Swedish channels. Window blinds a bit too thin to create a dark room to cope with time zone in summer when sunset is 11pm! Hotel is centrally located so you can walk to almost anywhere including Lund University, Botanic Gardens, cinema, bus station, grocery shop literally downstairs; and even the Central Station to take the train. Staff ir friendly and willing to offer advice just about anything. Laundry facilities available though 2 washing machines and 2 dryers appear overwhelmed in most cases. There is a sauna and basic gym. Wifi is almost perfect and once connected no need to refresh settings each time to get back to hotel. Free coffee and fruits by the reception. My stay was long so I used self-catering facilities so I have no experience with breakfast (SKr 10) . Will come back here and recommend anytime.
What a wonderful place to stay! The staff was friendly and helpful with tips on restaurants and other sites. We borrowed bikes one day and loved the trip route they suggested. Our room was in the back side and fairly quiet. We were there the week of graduation, so I suspect the street side was REALLY noisy. The breakfasts were amazing and we always appreciated the availability of cookies throughout the day. Will definitely return should our travels take us back to Lund!
Basic hotel with with comfortable rooms and nice bathrooms. Parking is expensive as our fees for pet dogs. The hotel is ideally positioned for exploring the town. Breakfast are off a high standard but no hot options are available. Good wifi. Overall we had a pleasant stay. The reception were friendly and helpful. Be prepared to be woken at 6.00 am by the street noise.
The location in the center of the "oldtown" of Lund is perfect, lots of restaurants and nice walking just around the corner. Despite that, there is no street noice and even right in the middle of the student festivities the street wa quitet at night. Easy parking in the same block with direct access to the hotel (after having checked in first, key need to enter the building from the parking side). We had two rooms, both very large with a fully equipped kitchen (fridge, micro, coffebrewer, plates and cutlery) and also a hairdryer and iron. I could imagine staying here for a prolonged time. Very comfortable beds and large bathroom, all adapated even to fit a wheelchair. The whole hote appears to very well adapted for disabled persons. Many TV-channels with excellent reception. Freshly renovated, everything was immaculately clean. Extremely fast WiFi (free), I measured over 90 Mbps. Normally a hotel WiFi does not exceed 10 Mbps. Breakfast was excellent, altough without hot food like scrambeled eggs or sausage. Very good freshly baked bread and otherwise everything one needs. Reception was effective and very welcoming. Next time on family travel I will definately stay here again.
I spent almost 4 weeks at the StayAt. The room was comfortable and spacious. I had my own kitchen so I didn't have to keep eating in restaurants. It was a memorable hotel experience! The staff was delightful, helpful and experienced. Every week, they organized events for the lodgers, if you wish to attend. The breakfast is phenomenal (as is usual in Sweden!). Price is reasonable.
As an apartment hotel the concept is slightly different to a regular hotel. The rooms contain a fully equipped kitchen and by default cleaning is once a week (additional cleaning can be booked). My room and the bathroom were big enough and clean. The reception isn't filled during night but late check-in is still well organized and in general the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is kind of continental and given in the public area at the ground floor. Unfortunately there was no free sauna slot in the evenings during my stay. The gym is about 3 machines in front of the sauna with a tv for entertainment. Overall a good stay and nothing to complain about. I probably would go there again.
The location of the hotel is convenient to the center of town, so if work or tourism takes you to that part of Lund, it is an easy walk from StayAt. The room is very spacious by European standards, but American travelers will find the rooms to be a bit small. I found it difficult to get the temperature to stay where I wanted it, but could easily cool the room quickly by opening the windows (my visit is in winter). The breakfast buffet is full of typical Scandinavian breakfast fare, and is quite tasty. All members of the staff were delightful. They were friendly, helpful, and all spoke excellent English, which is a relief if you do not speak Swedish.
Location is right in the middle of Lund. Good breakfast every morning and nice arrangements by the staff, either movie night og things like bowling. Room was very clean and amenities were good. The size of the room is very good. Only thing I can fault is the amount of wardrobe space in the room. For two people staying a prolonged period of time, this is not enough. I cannot comment on the price, as my company paid the expenses.
The serviced apartments are good and the staff are helpful and efficient. The rooms are good, with a kitchenette and attached bath. The breakfast facility is very good. It is close to the university, and is an excellent choice for both short and long term stays.
