I’ve never been more disappointed – the breakfast was simply awful. To just mention a few things - the eggs were mushy and NO taste at all, the baked beans didn’t taste nice either; no knifes, no plates, no spoons – because they were about to wash them. We had to wait for quite some time to get our cutlery. The staff seemed to be stressed and unorganized – couldn’t give answers to our questions. I have to say the check-in and check-out went smooth, the room was bright and clean too, but the breakfast was just too bad. Never experienced something like that before.
Spent in total 10 nights at the Park Inn on business and the hotel is great for business travelers. Efficient and friendly service, well-equipped rooms and a solid selection at the breakfast buffet. The surroundings are rather quiet (up and coming area I would call it) with fantastic running possibilities along the coastline and some great restaurants nearby.
My review of The Park Inn in Malmo gives me a dilemma that I have about 1 time in 5 when reviewing on TripAdvisor. In my opinion it is a good hotel, doesn't deserve to be classified as just average, but I cannot say it is Very good. This is when I think that a score out of 10 would be fairer, because here I would give a 7. The room was clean and comfortable. Pillows not the best. Breakfast is about right for the price and in line with a few hotels I have used recently, free quality Coffee available on the reception area is a good touch. I did have contact with the room maid to request some more Tea bags and milk, and she was ever so polite and forthcoming. Positive staff contact like this, and like that which I had at reception during my stay is always very nice to have. I was surprised that this purpose built hotel has an architectural flaw in that from room 506, privacy is not assured in the evening with lights on in the room unless curtains are drawn because the two rooms to the right have a line of sight through the window. Of course the curtains are there, but it's a shame I cannot see the sun set over the bridge to Copenhagen. Not a big deal, but something to put on this review. The bathroom is basically a wet room. The water goes well beyond the area that the shower screen serves, however it does both drain and dry quite quickly. All in, I think this is a good value hotel. For anyone on a budget note that there is a large 'Maxi' supermarket 2 minutes walk away for anything you might need outside of the hotel bar and restaurant. Getting into the centre of Malmo is a pretty straightforward and pleasant 15 / 20 minute walk - not really necessary to use one of Swedens vastly overpriced Taxis for that purpose.
If you are looking for a place to spend a quiet weekend alone or with family, Park Inn is the where you want to go. You start off your day with a sumptuous breakfast and great company to chat with.I strongly recommend them for their excellent services.
nice and clean rooms with a beautiful view to the oresund bridge. bus station in front of the hotel, which brings you in about 5 min to the city centre. breakfast was really good, enough offers and fresh. they offer also gluten free bread and more, as well as lacto free product on the breakfast buffett.
Had stayed for one night at this hotel and I can say it was very good. Decent breakfast, clean and well positioned. Friendly staff and with nearby paid parking available at 140 SEK per day. Very affordable compared to Copenhagen hotels so might be a better choice even when visiting the neighbor country.
Helpful and nice staff, clean and spacious rooms, big and comfortable beds. Very nice breakfast with a lot of choices for both diabetics, celiacs and lactose intolerants. The hotel is in a nice newly developed area close to the sea and the turning torso. Ica maxi supermarket is located in front of the hotel and there's a nice big organic supermarket and bistro very close (next to the turning torso).
Stayed here on our way to Denmark. Good place, nice clean rooms. Good service (had problems with TV, the serviceman came like in one minute and solved everything). Big choice of meals on the breakfast. And the key thing that you can stay with your pet with no additional charge. Only bad thing was is wifi - very poor signal on the 5-th floor. Had to go to the lobby to work on the computer.
My family and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. It is around 15 min walking distance to the city centre. This hotel is located by the port/water promenade. The rooms were nice! I traveled with my mother and sister and booked a double room + an extra bed. The extra bed was unfortunately very squeeky which made it a bit difficult for all of us to sleep whenever I turned in the bed. However the room is very clean, the staff nice, and the breakfast FANTASTIC. That is probably the best breakfast buffet I ever had in a hotel. There is everything you could imagine, from fresh baked bread (white, grain, black etc) to eggs, fresh fruits, yoghurt with many many topping options, bakery style sweet bread. Very very nice. The water promenade is incredible - go talk a walk there - very nice and beautiful. There are places to sit, enjoy the view, and a few cafés/restaurants. Most of all I loved being away from Malmø city centre, it was calm and you felt like you were amongst the locals.
Totaly every thing was great I like and enjoy We were big family but they did their best Clean and tidy rooms Good breakfast with good veriaty but it was busy Friendly staff - no slippers at room -one of our coffee bags had been used -not a good view
