Positives: - Good customer service: Front desk were very friendly and nice. Silvia helped me check in. Diana assisted me with check out. Quick and simple. - Pet friendly! Lots of pet owners walking in and out of the hotel when i was there. Not sure if this was a normal thing or if there was some sort of event happening. I thought it was pretty cool though. Place didn't stink or smell like animals. That was a plus! Negatives - Wifi was very slow from my room (Room 223). Sometimes it wouldn't even connect. - Room key kept having issues. I had to keep going downstairs to get it re-keyed each time i left for a long time. It was a little bothersome because i would come back, go up to my room, attempt to get in my room but get rejected with my key, head back downstairs, re-key, then go up to my room. Neutral - Location is so-so. A little away from the center but I found the area to be nice with many things around the hotel to keep you occupied. Parks, stores, etc. Bus stops are nearby as well.

Very nice staff at the reception. They gave us a free room upgrade after we realised that the room type was not exactly what we had booked via online. The room was nice and clean. Btw. the staff at the morning buffet was extremely efficient at stowing away everything to eat at 10 am sharp. We had appreciated a warning, just a "Would you like more - we are closing the buffet in 5 mins".

A no-nonsense hotel, small conference area. A restaurant that's dubbed for breakfast. Good food Rooms are on par with most hotels. Every room has a iron and hairdryer. Beds are good. Good service from staff, quick check in. Hotel has garage.

Very nice place, large rooms, very clean rooms, delicious breakfast, friendly staff, the hotel is very close to the Turning Torso building and in front of the hotel is a bus stop. The distance to the city center is 10 min walk.

In Park inn hotel I experienced something which I had never experienced before. They rented out the room that I had paid for without even letting me knowing!!! For a conference in Malmo I had reserved a room for two nights. The payment had also been done. Due to some issues, I could not attend the conference the first day but I attended the second day. However, after the conference when I went to the hotel they told me that they rented out the room with the excuse that I did not checked in the first day!!! It means they sold the room for that night to two persons. They told me that all the rooms were reserved. When I insisted that I want a room for that night they told that I could use the bathroom!!!! I haven’t faced such a situation before!!! Finally when I stayed there and insisted that I want a room, they suddenly found a room!!! Beside me also was another lady who was arguing for the gym since it was closed down while she had rented out the hotel only because of the gym! Anyway, I found them dishonest, unprofessional and rude. They even didn’t bother to apologize!! It seems with Malmo being a big business city with many travelers, they don’t have long-term perspective and just try to sell more! Thus, If you want to be sure that you have place to stay when you arrive Malmo, I don’t recommend Park inn at all!

Stayed here on Business - v late Arrival. Really good staff and provided great meal in Restaurant. Room was good and well equipped. Excellent breakfast choice. CAn walk from Station and good area to stay in

I’ve never been more disappointed – the breakfast was simply awful. To just mention a few things - the eggs were mushy and NO taste at all, the baked beans didn’t taste nice either; no knifes, no plates, no spoons – because they were about to wash them. We had to wait for quite some time to get our cutlery. The staff seemed to be stressed and unorganized – couldn’t give answers to our questions. I have to say the check-in and check-out went smooth, the room was bright and clean too, but the breakfast was just too bad. Never experienced something like that before.

Spent in total 10 nights at the Park Inn on business and the hotel is great for business travelers. Efficient and friendly service, well-equipped rooms and a solid selection at the breakfast buffet. The surroundings are rather quiet (up and coming area I would call it) with fantastic running possibilities along the coastline and some great restaurants nearby.

My review of The Park Inn in Malmo gives me a dilemma that I have about 1 time in 5 when reviewing on TripAdvisor. In my opinion it is a good hotel, doesn't deserve to be classified as just average, but I cannot say it is Very good. This is when I think that a score out of 10 would be fairer, because here I would give a 7. The room was clean and comfortable. Pillows not the best. Breakfast is about right for the price and in line with a few hotels I have used recently, free quality Coffee available on the reception area is a good touch. I did have contact with the room maid to request some more Tea bags and milk, and she was ever so polite and forthcoming. Positive staff contact like this, and like that which I had at reception during my stay is always very nice to have. I was surprised that this purpose built hotel has an architectural flaw in that from room 506, privacy is not assured in the evening with lights on in the room unless curtains are drawn because the two rooms to the right have a line of sight through the window. Of course the curtains are there, but it's a shame I cannot see the sun set over the bridge to Copenhagen. Not a big deal, but something to put on this review. The bathroom is basically a wet room. The water goes well beyond the area that the shower screen serves, however it does both drain and dry quite quickly. All in, I think this is a good value hotel. For anyone on a budget note that there is a large 'Maxi' supermarket 2 minutes walk away for anything you might need outside of the hotel bar and restaurant. Getting into the centre of Malmo is a pretty straightforward and pleasant 15 / 20 minute walk - not really necessary to use one of Swedens vastly overpriced Taxis for that purpose.

If you are looking for a place to spend a quiet weekend alone or with family, Park Inn is the where you want to go. You start off your day with a sumptuous breakfast and great company to chat with.I strongly recommend them for their excellent services.
