The room was okay. It was spacious however expected more being that it is the Radisson. The breakfast however was very good. The location was close to the bus station which was great. The staff were friendly.
Stayed there one night with the family. Very nice staff very helpful. Rooms are quite large and also very clean and comfortable. Since I always stay here when in Malmö I really enjoy it. The restaurant had some very nice food and it was nice sitting in front of the fireplace eating. Will be back again.
We ordered the hotel by phone on central booking, thought the order was ok, but not, several problems with the order from amount of people and requirements during the stay, finally sorted out with the order from booking to call at least 30 minutes before arrival to ensure parking in garage was available. No luck whatsoever to get hold of the reception when trying to cal, gave up after tried 15-20 times and hopes for the best at arrival. Upon arrival the reception personell never heard anything about requirement to call 30 minutes ahead of arrival. Problems with reservation of amount of people, as they had registered only 2 daults and not our kid despite this given during booking. Issues sorted out, and got discount for issues, so i am pleased with the service level at reception from the person at duty when we arrived. Friday afternoon between 16 - 18 there is a DJ in the lobby bar, so expect high music if arriving at this time. Room is spaceous and a roll out bed arranged in the room. Smell from floorcarpet noticed and high noise from AC ventilation. Beds good and rooms clean and good in this respect. Hotel breakfast was good, and good seating for taking your breakfast in quiet and peace. In general i would have given one point more for this hotel, if booking had been better, and room 100%. It is a hotel in upper middle class at good location in Malmö, with opportunity to have your car parked safely for 200 kronor per day in garage. However, not sure i would like to use the central booking system of Radisson Blu again, so i might not use their hotels again for this reason only.
I am here for the third time. This is a super hotel with the bests location of all hotels in Malmo. The have a great bar - with reasonable Swedish prices for a beer. See photo. The beds are great. They serve a great breakfast in a wonderful room (see picture). Only drawback - we had to wait 3 hours extra to get the room we reserved. That's not ok.
We had an overnight stay in a standard room which is spacious and modern, with comfortable beds. The breakfast is good although the choice of vegetables and fruits is a bit limited - ok, but they could make more of it. Reception is efficient, polite but reserved staff. Overall we got a good deal and were satisfied with the value we got.
I stayed here a while back and commented that the rooms need a refresh. Still the case! Nice hotel and staff are always helpful. Breakfast is good and the public areas are well kept. Just the bedrooms that feel tired and worn. Need a refurb and are not of the standard you would expect from a Rad Blu.
This is a perfect combination of new luxurys hotel and a charming old building turned into a dinning area/restaurant.. The room I got was huge and spacious, and the beds were some of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in.. The breakfast buffet had everything you could wish for, and if you had any special whises the kitchen was prepared to cook it for you.. staff was great and friendly .. I would come back any time - it is amazing..
The check-in process was very smooth and we quickly found our room on the 4th floor. View was nothing special but the room was large with a sitting area with ample lighting and a desk in addition to a comfortable queen bed. Very clean and everything worked. Nice touch putting all the power in one place to turn on by inserting your key. And the room had several outlets for charging various devices. This location was available when most others in the area were fully booked and it was reasonably priced. The hotel is close to old-town, the squares, and the train station. The only downside was the parking. Street parking was cheaper but you had to make sure to add time when needed. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. They also hosted some sort of Friday after work thing so it was busy and fun. Highly recommended!
Very nice , clean rooms and lovely beds. It´s near by all shops and walking distance to the train station. The staff was very helpful . We had breakfast in the room - great !! :-) I could stay there again :-)
It’s a pity that the rooms are not soundproof enough for my taste (one shares too much of the life of one’s neighbor – shower, doors slammed, etc..). If not, I would easily rank this hotel in my personal world best value top ten, (and this is the 89th hotel that I review on TA). Rooms are really large, nicely decorated, with an excellent bed. There are black curtains against the daylight which are very efficient. Quality of sleep is excellent. Bathroom is large and nice as well. Breakfast is excellent with a lot of choice and quality products (breads, apple juices, etc..), as is the food at lunch and dinner (I was in this hotel with a dozen colleagues for a business workshop, and we had lunch every day, and dinner quite often as well, and I have never been disappointed with the quality and choice of the food). Staff is professional, helpful and smiling, I couldn’t find any grumpy face in a week. Special kudos and thanks to the lady of the conference center who pampered us during all the week. Wifi is free and effective! One can really work with a high level of comfort and with VPN, you’re almost in your office. Finally, the location is great, close to the old town center and the central station. Should I show up in Malmö again, I won’t hesitate a minute to come back to this hotel.
