We stayed here for 8 nights with our 5 month old daughter. This was our first holiday as a family of three. Upon our arrival it was confirmed that a cot was already in our room. Check in staff we’re lovely and friendly! Isabelle greeted us every time we saw her and gave us lots of information about the area. We booked half board and it was perfect! Jose who runs the Resturant has a great team working with him - Alfred Wendy and Inma were all fantastic and looked after us so well at dinner and breakfast! The rooms are dated but very clean and were serviced everyday. The pool is small but plenty of sun beds and a great terrace with sun beds in too. Bar area is big and the themed nights were great fun. Again bar staff were fantastic. The food was amazing! We have had bad experiences before with half board and were worried we may of made the same mistake but no, the food was very good and different every night. Even tho we were there for 8 nights we thought the last night would be the same as the first and it wasn’t! It was different. All food was piping hot and the same goes for breakfast. So much choice! This hotel is perfect with regards to location. 10 minute walk to the beach. Which is beautiful and clean. Even has toilets. Lots of restaurants on the front and you can walk or cycle the coast all the way to Arunel. Great for buggies and the disabled. All in all a great hotel and we will be back next year for sure!
We stayed here for a few nights after a villa stay in Alcudia, as it's convenient for Palma and the airport. Food excellent for the price we paid and rooms clean and comfortable. Staff mostly friendly and helpful. The usual rush for the sunbeds but we were happy to sightsee and go out into the resort. Would return again.
We just have spent 2 weeks and its our 5 th time . Every visit is really a good one from the manager Manuel to the cleaning staff nothing is too much trouble. I dont usually pick names out but we have friends now in most of the staff both dining and management. Yes the place is a little tired with age but is this the case generally wherever you stay and yes we will return the food is excellent for the price, maybe Can Pastilla itself also needs some refurbing??? but it is probably on par with other destinations Enjoy your stay there Derek & Christine
Great hotel for the cost - good basic accommodation which provides a great base if this is the area you want to be in. I have attached to this review many photos ( over 25 photos ) - reception are efficient and helpful and Jose in the dining room is very welcoming - all the staff I have come across are efficient and some are more outgoing than others. We were only here for 3 nights but would come again if the price is right and it is the area we want to be in.IF you are happy to go back to a hotel then there is nothing to put you off. If you are looking for higher end quality and more than basic food then pay more and try elsewhere. MUST recommend the bike shop opposite the hotel - the owner is so helpful and speaks excellent English and the prices are cheap - you can book via reception or at the shop itself across the road from the sunbathing area. It is called Royal Rent. I have even added a photo of the shop as they were so flexible and helpful. The clientele in the hotel at the time of our stay were at least 90% German or Western European / Scandinavia.
Second time here and food seemed even better, more choice and better quality, unbeatable for the price paid. All staff also very good, although I find the reception staff quite offhand and in the early morning of 12 th may downright rude.
Stayed at Roc Linda from 24th to 28th april.i cant say anything bad about this hotel apart from it needs a little updating but we were told thats going to happen soon. The rooms were a generous size & kept clean, a little towel art left on the bed every day..beds so comfy.food was really good.staff helpful & polite..a five minute walk to the beach which was beautiful. Would definately come back again. We decided to get a taxi from airport when we arrived & the driver said it was a minimum fare of 13 euro..pulled up at hotel after a 7 to 8 minute drive & it said 7euro on meter but was charged the 13 euro..on the way home we got another taxi to airport & was charged 15 euro so just be aware prices may vary..all in all we had a lovely time
Spent a week here half board. Close to all shops, beach, airport etc. Supermarket over the road. Rooms ok clean etc beds not great though. Food very nice plenty to choose from and well cooked. Staff are nice and friendly overall a very good cheap week away.
Very handy for the airport with bus 21 at the door, also the bus to Palma. Plenty of local shops and restaurants and about 5 minutes walk to the beach. Good value for the price but not luxurious, clean and well maintained. Good selection at breakfast including english!
nice staff, been here 5 times and would go again, tasty food, big choice in morning and diner is amaizing, restaurant staff very good as reception as well, next to bus stop which takes to airport, very good location
So this is our 4th year staying at this hotel. The staff are extremely friendly, and continue to return every season; this says a lot! The rooms are of a typical Spanish style with minimal flair however you have everything you could need. Food is excellent. For a 3 star accommodation, there is a great choice of international cuisine, and again, the head chef has been here for longer than we have visited..... Overall thus is a strong good standard accommodation where you know exactly what you are getting. Highly recommend.
