The staff at check in did not speak any English. As the website was english, and no notice of this on hotels.com, I expected them to speak english. I did email the week prior to arrival about the airport shuttle which is on the website but had no reply. Clean hotel otherwise. Close to beach.

Lovely little hotel in El Palo

Perfectly located two blocks from the beach and close to shops, bus stop to/from Málaga right outside. Super-friendly staff, great Aircon, fridge in room, good shower, huge smart TV. Loved it! Thank you, we will be back soon!!

Second time staying here now! Such a lovely hotel, very clean, nice reception staff! Good size rooms with comfy beds! Just 5 minutes walk from the beach! I will be back for sure!

The listing said they had an airport shuttle. When I contacted them to arrange this, they said to take a taxi. Since they’re on the other side of town, the taxi was expensive- both ways.

Difficult to communicate as we didnt speak much Spanish, but the staff was excellent and really made us feel welcome. A very short walk to the beach. Super clean. Good value for a simple stay. The road was busy, but was a good trade off that made it simple to use transit and taxi services. Overall was happy to stay there. Small and outside of the city of Malaga is what we were looking for. Thanks Hotel Elcano!!

We Loved the Cleanliness, It felt like Home. We loved the Decor and it was Ecofriendly very Good Vibes and Unique. We did not like the bathroom smell it was the sewage system bad smell. We had to burn inscence to neutralize smell. But all malaga sewage smelled bad. Its not hotels fault. Great Hotel and Affordable! The staff nice, helpful and informative Thank You!
