The staff was great and the check in process was easy, however I would never choose to stay here again, mainly because of our room. Maybe the upgraded rooms are better, but our standard double room was rather small and the bed and pillows were rocks. Our backs and necks hurt every morning. Our "view" was a dirty gray staircase in between two buildings so we never really wanted to open the shades. You could also hear everything that happened out in the hallway. The hotel was kept very clean and they have a deal to make parking a little cheaper at a garage a couple buildings down ($15/night). The location is okay...close to the beach, the city center, the metro, and walkable to most things within 20 minutes or so. The river they are alongside was not what I was expecting (dirty brown water & graffiti everywhere). Wifi worked pretty well.

No complaints. Close to the metro. We checked in at 3am and the staff was OK with that.

Unfortunately during our stay at Eurostar Astoria, we were without our luggage due to the failure of our airline. With that said, the staff at the hotel (espeically Carlos) were very helpful. He called the airline several times for us to inquire about the location of our baggage. He also spoke English very well and went beyond what was expected of him. In general, the hotel was very nice and had a beautiful view--we were pleased with this hotel.

Front desk reception very helpful and friendly. Room was quiet, clean, and great for a two day stopover. Last stop from the airport train and just across the river. An art gallery next door, good restaurants very close. 10 to 15 minute walk to the main rail station and nice shopping mall. The hotel had tickets for the Hop In Hop off Bys. Would stay there again.

All very nice except breakfast buffet. Wifi was excellent reception. Walking distance to everything of interest

Hotel is easy to reach: short walk from main bus and train stations and very close to the metro stop with direct connections to the airport. Nice rooms in location tha is short walk from the old center of town.
