Short skiing trip

The cabin is beautiful and great location. I had problems with the accommodation for one of the rooms. My kids weren’t able to use the Sofa bed. It needs to be replaced. The downstair room had an awful smell. The cabin did have tissues, paper towels or shower personal care. The place is absolutely beautiful and I know this comments can be easily fixed.

Wonderful place for family time and a quick ski trip at Cataloochee.

Great cabin close to Cataloochee Ski area. My adult children and I met up for the weekend to get in a couple of days on the slopes. We loved Mountain Haven. Plenty of room for the five of us to all have our own space. We really enjoyed the pool table. It was too cold to be outside but the deck looked great with a lovely view of the mountains. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The location was close to everything in Maggie Valley. Would definitely stay here again.

Mountain Haven stay

Drive very angled for travelers with trailer. Very deep small gravel that your Vehicles sink in...hard to get out if parked close to cabin. Sent email to Carolina Vacations a week before our arrival and received no response on hauling a trailer with motorcycle s...if we needed to make other arrangements. Cabin was beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nice house

The house itself was well kept and clean. Listening to the creek was very pleasant. The only negatives were the view in the picture online is better than the view in person. Also the deck could use some cleaning. Other than that it's a great house and we had a wonderful time.

Lovely home on the mountainside

This was a beautiful cabin, that comfortably accommodated the six of us. The motorcycle riding is excellent however the steep gravel drive was definitely a challenge for large bikes.

Awesome cabin!!

Quaint lil spot. perfect for what we needed. Stream running in front of the cabin, enough room for everyone and everything we needed for a relaxing girls weekend. The driveway is a lil tight so backing in would be the best way. Also has a garage downstairs beside the pool table area. if you're a light sleeper take ear plugs. it's a cabin and wood settles and creaks. Beautiful sunrise through the front windows or off the balcony. def will make this a yearly trip!!

The home and view was beautiful. The town was a little sleepy but Asheville is not to far away if you want restaurants and some action. Would stay here again.

Nice Cabin

Cabin was very nice. Driveway is a bit dangerous. TV and programming could use a major upgrade. Very difficult to use and very few channels. Toilets need updated to something more appropriate for adults.

We’ll be back!

We stayed last weekend and this place was awesome. My son, daughter in law and grandson arrived first and the transition of keys went perfect. Upon arriving at the beautiful house, they noticed the water had been shut off by the city. They called and reported it and within minutes someone was there to turn it back on. The response time was excellent. The house is beautiful inside and out. Easy ride up to it which was a plus too. It rained most everyday, but we had plenty of room inside to stretch out while we were held up there due to the weather. Everything worked as it should and we will be back! Thanks to all involved to make this family trip one to remember.
