The room looked clean at first, but once we settled, it was very dusty. The tables had not been wiped down and the pillows even had dust on them. The sink in the bathroom would not drain. The AC in the room did not work either. It would only blow really hot air.

The front desk staff is very helpful, including to those with limited Spanish. We had a very early morning arrival (around 6am) so I booked a room for the evening prior and emailed our arrival details. The room was ready when we arrived so we were able to catch a nap before exploring Madrid. The room was very clean and the location is excellent - there is a mini-mart across the street, the #5 Metro line is a block away, and there are a variety of eating options nearby. The buffet is a great value and everyone is incredibly friendly. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Madrid!!

Rooms were very warm when it was 15C outside and no air conditioning. Only way to cool down was window open on a very busy street. Otherwise, this was just as advertised and a great location.
