In this hotel they didn't deliver the room they had sold. The employees were rude, and the room was old, very noisy and smelly... Through the web they sell a different product. Very unpleasant experience. Avoid it!

It's lovely. The beds sleep well. You can open the windows if you want. The breakfast is a triumph. The Metro is just outside-that means you can go anywhere.Thank you LLinos Thomas@travel counsellors......for making Madrid real! markets in the old quarter on a Sunday are worth a visit.........every glass of wine has free tapas-La ventas peps....on Sunday. I couldn't find anything wrong with this hotel if I tried

Stayed here for 3 nights end of november. Staff are okay, helpful and knowledgable of local area. The rooms are spacious, beds comfortable, room clean and pretty much all ammenities you would ask for. Hot drink machine in lobby, no tea?? Not a major issue but odd ommision. Really pleased with our stay and would return, only a few faults stopping my rating being a 5 star. Breakfast staff could be a little friendlier, some of them anyway. Another fault would be the bedroom door, really need something like a draught excluder to soften the impact on closing, wooden door echoes through the walls so everytime a door was closed from the rooms in the hallway we woke up. Really picky reasons to drop a star, dont be put off, fantastic location 50 yards from El Carmen metro, bus stop outside the hotel, supermarket up the road, few eateries around. 1 added tip ... do not order pizza from the advertised takeaway in the welcome pack, expensive and average. Pop over the road to Carlos for a much nicer pizza that is half the price!

I had a three night stay within the hotel under a standard single bedroom. Luckily enough it was upgraded I think due to possible availability. The hotel and the rooms were very well kept, clean, spacious and well relaxing. The breakfast was vastly available with an array of delights that were on offer. Staff was also very polite and helpful especially the front desk people such as Alfonso who advised on things to see. Overall, it was a well kept hotel and ideal for the short stay city break with clean and adequate items around the hotel. Would definitely stay again if I came to Madrid again..

We had a lovely 3 night stay here. The hotel was clean and the staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with plenty to choose from and as much as you wanted to eat and everything was fresh. There was a bus stop right outside which for €1.50 took you right to the heart of the city. From here we caught the open top bus . There were 2 routes and we managed to do both routes

I did not stay at the hotel because when I tried to confirm the reservation that I did online, they said that they did not had any reservation in my name. This contact was made by phone and, even I asked to confirm because I was travelling to Madrid next day, they insisted that they had nothing in the system. On this situation I wrote an email explaining what was going on and asking to consider a cancellation because I needed to travel to Madrid with a Hotel confirmed. Immediately in the morning after, and after I've booked other place, they sent me an email saying that I had to +ay because it was on the conditions. No one tried to call me and the assistance they give me by email was not correct.

Clean , slightly old but typically Spanish.I found this hotel really pleasant for a two night business stay. The staff were all really nice which makes a difference. Would recommend as long as you pay 80 -100 euros.

Stayed for one night and were really pleased overall with our stay. The hotel is next to the metro and it's really easy to get around and Ventas is a good suburb with quaint and traditional bars and restaurants. The room was clean and spacious (a little dated but that's not an issue). The breakfast was surprisingly good (some previous negative reviews on here), there was lots to choose from and the hot food was actually hot and fresh. The breakfast is served from 7.15 until 11am (weekend) so if you like to have a lazy morning and eat later then it's available for a long period of time. Pleasantly surprised overall and would stay again. It was fairly cheap and a great location!

I have been using this hotel for years. It is dependable, affordable and very clean. The heating and AC is reliable. Bus and metro stop are one block away. The 146 bus will take you to the last stop Callao - leaving you in downtown Madrid. Taxis are plentiful here. The hotel offers you the basics - a decent breakfast and other meals should you need them. There's a very nice new café across the street for coffee and pastries which is open most of the day. There is also a very large covered market one block away and severa very handy supermarkets also one block from the front door. You are also a 5 minute walk from the bullring!

We stayed here with a tour. Our room was large and had a super bathroom. It was located outside of main Madrid, but had a great deal of shops around it. There were nearby restaurants of good quality food. Included Breakfast was Good.
