Great location for walking to the Prado, Retiro Park, Plaza Mayor, Mercado de San Miguel and Palacio Real. The staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast buffet was fantastic—fresh fruit and juices.

Very friendly staffing, perfect location, and very clean rooms. Absolutely will be coming back to book here ! Also if you have the chance, their breakfast is amazing !!!!

Rooms were clean and pretty good size for Europe and being in the city. Was very happy. Staff was great and accommodating. Our room had a balcony which I did not ask/pay for, but it overlooked beautiful architectural buildings and the streets below. They had a big Christmas tree up which was beautiful. We stayed for New Years Eve and decided to stay away from the crowds in Puerta del Sol. Those who could not make it to the Puerta Del Sol celebrated below outside by the tree (they were only letting so many in due to Covid). We celebrated off our balcony and LOVED it. Location was fantastic and in the heart of everything. We had breakfast the next morning which we thought was a little pricey at first, but what they offered was very well worth it. Delicious and so many choices from the buffet! Would definitely stay here again!

It was a ok hotel, the rooms were small and the hotel staff was very unprofessional

The hotel has a strange modern feel. However, there is much to be desired. My room was not clean when I checked in. I found several hairs from other people throughout my room (bedding (several times), floor, desk and the bathroom.) My air conditioner never really worked. First, I would have to get up and turn it on. It would just shut off after running for 10 minutes. The second night I said something and someone did come to "fix it." Now, it just ran and never blew cold air. It was an internal room so air conditioning is needed in the summer in Madrid! The room had a strange odor that only seemed to dissipate with the "blowing" of air from the air conditioner. I went to use the safe behind a wardrobe panel and the hinge was broken and pulled out of the wardrobe. When I called to see if someone could look at it, I was told it would have to wait until tomorrow because no one else was working at the property until the following morning. There was a buffet for breakfast with the room. When i got there, there wasn't any food and it did not look like there was a staff replenishing it; there was a half hour to go until it was over. The wireless connection in my room was highly inconsistent. It would work. Then, it would stop. This was the way it was for the duration of my stay. The people were nice and kind behind the desk.

No problems at all. Clean, helpful, convinent location. Only challenge was the parking, but that is how most of the hotels in Madrid are.

Petit Palace Alcala Torre is as good a hotel as we have ever stayed in! The room was extremely clean when we arrived and kept clean each day for the week we were there. It was simple and very comfortable; they not only had free WiFi but had laptops in the room waiting to be used; it is the perfect location for Plaza del Sol, Plaza Major, Gran Via and the Prado; but, most importantly, every single one of the staff, particularly the front desk staff, were the most consistently friendly, courteous, happy and helpful staff as I have experienced in 50 years of traveling. They helped make this a very fun trip. All this made the value the highest of any place I can remember. Other hotels are more expensive and some might be as good, but you will not find a better place to stay nor a better value. We highly recommend it. We cannot wait to return!

This hotel is in a good, central location in Madrid, although parking is a fair distance away. We had difficulty even finding space to park to unload our luggages as the space directly across from the hotel entrance is reserved only for loading cargo (and there were trucks waiting there all the time!). Our room was for four people, yet when the two bunk beds were down, there was simply no space left to move around the room. Great shower, but again all the bathroom walls are frosted glass, so there is limited privacy.

The stuff is good, but the room, hmmm not that great

We booked this hotel at the last moment through Orbitz. The hotel is located centrally in Madrid and is pretty decent. The room was a bit small but you don't expect anything larger in Europe !

The view from the room was wonderful. I could walk right across the street to Starbucks and many more small cafes and restaurants in walking distant. I did eat in the conference room one morning but the street cafe are so nice. The city has so much to offer and you can walk or catch the metro in just a few blocks, The museums are in walking distant

This hotel is hard to find because the street it is located on is so small it is not on any maps. It is near the intersection of Gran Via and Alcala, near the Sol underground stop. From the hotel it is a 3-5 minute walk to Plaza del Sol and 15 minutes to the Prado. The room was small but the hotel made good use of the space. There was a small desk with a laptop for your use. However, the laptop restricts the programs you can use and would not let us connect our digital camera to download pictures. The bathroom was nice with a large shower and well lit makup mirror. The walls are very thin in the hotel so you will hear anyone who walks by. In the morning, the cleaning crew starts early and the noise will probably keep you from sleeping in.

Front desk was very helpful. Nice quiet stay. Thanks

Muy buena ubicación aunque el estar en proceso de obras municipales dificulta el acceso por ahora, seguramente terminarán pronto. fuera de eso todo está muy bien
