Renovated property in MAGNIFICENT condition. The attention of Paul and his team was great, always ready to support our needs and offering help and tools for simple checkin and access to the property that make the stay pleasant from the beginning. Apartment that is centrally located and good size. Clean and tidy with good facilities and equipment. Three bedroom apartment had three bathrooms so ideal for families or groups. View was disappointing in our room due to being in roof so mainly had skylights, but it didn’t spoil our stay and did make it feel more private. The building and room felt secure and the neighbourhood was lovely and quiet. Only one issue was shower water was cold in the evening, so we resorted to morning showers. Good communication from management regarding remote check in All in all very pleasant stay here

Horrible experience, never again.

Horrible. A/c made loud noise and kept us up. Management could not fix it. Place had no windows just skylight type. Place smelled of cigarettes. Old place with lots of cracks. No representive was ever at the main floor desk. I checked all hours of the day. We left early it was so bad.

Didn’t like that we ran out of hot water every morning, so my family had to shower with cold water and the weather was cold, and also the apartament needs painting, because it is not as it appears in the photos in relation to its walls specifically.

Overall a good stay!

The location is great, about 1 mile to all attractions, including Old Madrid, so you can walk everywhere. The neighborhood has plenty of restaurants and little shops for picking up groceries and breakfast items. The apartment was quite clean, beds comfortable. Some small negatives for me: 1) Despite the non-smoking policy, other guests were smoking in their apartments, which resulted in smoke circulating through the building. At times, it smelled of smoke in our kitchen, hallway and bathrooms. I reported this to the building management and it was dealt with promptly. 2) The flooring showed some wear and tear from prior guests I presume. Quite a minor issue, but noticeable to a neat freak such as myself. 3) Four of us could not all take showers in the morning. The water tank ran out of hot water on the third shower. The apartment had two bathrooms, but neither had hot water after the third shower. When I addressed this with the management, I was told to just wait 20-30 mins till the tank fills up with hot water again. I think limitations such as these should be communicated with guests in advance. We are renting a two-bedroom apartment with two bathrooms in order to accommodate four people, so it is our expectation that we would all be able to shower in the morning. Positives: 1) Great location, close to everything. 2) Organization: everything is communicated in advance, touchless remote check-in. 3) The management communicated via text message and responded right away.

The property has 4 single beds in one room, and another queen bed in another. So it is enough for sleep 6 people (big family). There are a kitchen and living room, plus a 32-in TV (not so many programs available though). Two bathrooms is a plus for sure. Apparently the construction next door is still unfinished, and presumably generating noises in the night (not in the morning though). I thought I saw noise complaints in other reviews, dated about 8 months ago. So I figure this issue may persist till the summer of 2020 or beyond. On the other hand, I got so tired during those two nights stay there the noises didn't bother me that much. There is a washer but no dryer One more note, the apartment is not staffed so you need to inform the owner about your arrival time. Check out time is 11 am firm.

Madrid Metro Delight

What a delight it was after a day of travel to find respite at Palafox. A friend recommended this to our crew and we really enjoyed it. So clean, neat, and perfect for our 6. Close to food, groceries, night life, and easily accesible by the Metro.

Little neighborhood in a big city

We arrived early in the morning, well before regular check in time, but they were able to accomodate us and got us right into a ready apartment. 2 bed, 2 bath, washing machine, drying rack, full kitchen with dishwasher, wifi, 3 balconies, elevator, about a 3 minute walk from Bilbao Metro stop (the 1 and 4 go through there, super convenient to so many things). There are restaurants, sandwich shops, ice cream shops, and a very nice bakery (Miga) right there. There is a plaza just a couple blocks further on Palafox that the husband went to to jog around in the morning. It felt like a very safe area, even late at night. There is a 24 hour grocery a few blocka away, and a few ATM's in the area. The apartment was clean and well cared for. We stayed 10 days (visiting my son who is studying in Madrid) and they came in 2x to clean and change towels, etc. There is some construction going on down the street, but they don't start early. There is a night club at the end of the block, but except for the occasional laughter, that wasn't bothersome either. A few extra hooks in the bathroom would be nice. I would definitely stay there again.

Very clean, modern and in a perfect location. Perfect apartment for a group of 8 in the top floor room. Host met us after ringing them when we were in the airport and was there within minutes when we arrived to show us around. Area has a lot of restaurants, bars and clubs and only about 25 minutes walk into the centre, with the metro station being minutes away.

Large and spacious

5 of us have just stayed here and were really impressed. The apartment is modern and large with 2 huge bedrooms and a large bedroom in the attic. There was also a big settee in the living room. It had 3 bathrooms and plenty of space for us all. Only niggles were the hairdryer worked only for a couple of minutes at a time and we were only provided with 1 towel each. However, I was sent an email saying if we needed any more towels etc just to let them know. I would highly recommend this place, in walking distance to most things and would definitely return.

Convenient/Safe Apt. at Chamberi Neighborhood

This property is fantastic. We were a family of 6. 3 adults and 3 big kids. All 3 berries have queen size beds, and are very comfortable, rache bed with 4 pillows. Great living room and kitchen areas, and has 2 full en-suite baths and 1 half bath in the Loft area. Has dishwasher and clothes washer (no clothes dryer) has A/C and heater, elevator. Safe neighborhood (Chamberi) that is good for families, great area centrally located with easy access to 3 metro stations within 5 min walking distance. Superb and affordable options for dining. Staff is courteous, met us promptly at the apartment. Mid week cleaning included. Only concern is hot water runs out after 3-4 people take a bath, and you’ll need to wait 1hr to reheat (that could be improved). Street parking is readily available (Saturday from 3pm until Monday 9am it’s free street parking); during weekdays you may need to use a public garage that’s up to 32 Euro per day with no in/out privileges. Walkable distances to most mayor sights, and metro access is very easy and cheap. So are taxis and Uber (now available in Spain). I would recommend this place to anyone.

Great place to stay

Loved staying here. Not only is the apartment great it is in a great part of town where you can access a lot of the nearby bars and restaurants but also get to other barrios easily either by metro or on foot.

Huge apartment, very comfortable

It is a great apartment, very big, we had 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a living room. Located close (20 minutes walk) to lots of sightseeing. The beds are comfortable. I'm very happy with our stay here. Keep in mind that you need to call in advance and let them you what tine are arriving because there is no reception here. Also there is a construction going on in the building across the street but it didn't bother me.

great apartment.great positioin

Very comfortable apartment in a very good position.Close to metro and good cafes and main shopping area.There was construction on the building across the road which was pretty noisy but not an issue if you are up early and out for the day as we were.Good sized kitchen with a washing machine!2 bathrooms which was very helpful with 2 young adult kids.Plenty of room for all.
