Hotel T3 Tirol

We stayed Thursday to Saturday nights in a family room (twin beds pushed together and 2 bunk beds for children). The room was large, and clean and hotel staff efficient. The hotel is very near a metro station and surrounded by shops, restaurants etc. Its about a 15-20 minute walk from the Debod temple and only a little further to the Palacio Real. Our room's window faced the street and there was a little noise from the busy street, but it didn't stop us sleeping.

A very clean and comfortable Hotel that's conveniently situated about 100m or so from Arguelles Metro station. Quite easily reached from the Airport on the Metro with a couple of easy changes. The Hotel staff were all helpful and welcoming. The breakfast is not spectacular but more than adequate. Plenty of desk space to work at. Great for a short business trip.

The Hotel T3 Tirol is a very comfortable, modern light and bright hotel. While the location is not as central as some, hence the lower cost, it's very close to the terrific metro system. Just buy yourself a 10 trip card, and you're set. The hotel is very clean, close to places for breakfast and supper. I would have given it 5 stars, but my room lacked a comfy reading chair and a coffee maker. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I stayed in this hotel as it was near where I had to be. The room was OK and the bed fine but there were hairs on the bed, on the desk and in the bathroom. The following day the room was cleaned but the rubbish bin was not emptied and it was full of stuff. Staff was very cold and unwelcoming. Won't return there.

This is a very clean, centrally-located hotel just by a metro station. It’s a no-frills place -which is reflected in the price - plain and Spartan and perfectly decent. It has free WiFi, BUT it lacks proper heating / cooling controls. So our room was a broiling 28C with no means of cooling it down. The staff suggested we leave the windows open, but as it’s in the middle of the city, that would make sleep impossible. So the choice is stay awake because of the noise or stay awake because of the heat. And if there’s one thing a hotel should provide, it’s a reasonable night’s sleep. It’s a shame as otherwise it’s a good place to use as a base. But we shall not be returning.

We arrived early from a red-eye and wasn't able to be accommodated until later in the afternoon (close to 3pm). The staff stored our luggage in a locked closet while we investigated the near-bye sites, but when we got back to check in the door was ajar. Thankfully nothing was taken. The included breakfast was very good. The Wi-Fi was somewhat spotty on the first night but was fine afterwards. We needed to pick up a sim card for Spain and it was nice that the location was right beside a Vodafone. Otherwise, it was a bit of a trek to some of the other sites in Madrid but the hotel was right on the metro.

“Hotel T3 Tirol is a 3 star hotel in the north west area of the city. It is ideally situated being a mere 50 yards from the Arguelles Metro Station. The hotel is clean, fairly modern. The double room was plain but comfortable with bath, shower, hairdryer and free internet access. The staff were very friendly and helpful.”

Despite several review of this hotel that mentioned how helpful and friendly the staff were, I found the opposite - off hand, not helpful at all, apart from the cleaning ladies. This is very much a 3 star hotel - no tea and coffee facilities in the room but vending machines in some floors and the feeling of a student hall of residence. The rooms were not very large - but large enough, clean and minimalist . My room overlooking the inner courtyard was quiet enough so sleep quality was OK . Breakfast was OK - not wonderful but passable.

We recently had a 4 night stay here and it suited us. Our room was adequate and a good size although it would have been nice to have a kettle/coffee in the room. Unfortunately our safe was not working and they couldn't fix it. The staff on reception were friendly. We did not have breakfast in the hotel as it seemed quite expensive so we went out to one of the many little cafes nearby. Arguelles Metro is very close and there is a nice selection of shops and restaurants nearby.

An excellent value hotel right outside the Arguelles metro station. 8/10 minutes ride on the metro in to Sol etc. For nightlife and all the restaurants. Clean and well kept rooms, excellent for those on a budget. Nice walk heading west then south through the park for the palace, Debod temple and cable cars. Don't do it in august without plenty of water though!
