Hotel Sercotel Togumar

I booked this hotel simply because it was close to the place I was going to work in. It happens it is surrounded by plenty of very good restaurants and eateries as well as a metro station just around the corner. Most of the staff were very helpful and would kindly provide advice on local knowledge. The breakfast ladies were very accommodating despite the fact there are no hot options. The rooms could be cleaned a little bit better and the hot water in the mornings kept on changing temperature... Only in the mornings possibly due to other guests usage as no problem in the evening! Wifi had an acceptable speed but their outdated system for makeup calls meant I missed 2 out of 7 requests. My phone broke so this service was clearly needed! It would be nice to have coffee facilities in the room.

Just had a two-night break in Madrid with an Aunt. Was looking for a hotel within a reasonable distance from both the airport and the city centre. Sercotel Togumar fitted the bill perfectly, more so being only a 5 minute walk from the Prosperidad metro station. Arrived later than we had intended. Auntie was quite tired and not overly keen to go back out for something to eat. Room service had finished for the evening so I went down to reception to ask about somewhere nearby that I could go to, to bring food back. The very friendly and helpful receptionist gave me some options then told me that if I wanted he could order me in a Dominos pizza! Perfect! I hadn’t lifted cash by that point and he said “no worry, pizza will be delivered to your room and you can pay by card.” So we did :-) Fabulous Service! The room was perfectly adequate with little treats such as sweeties, chocolates, an apple and a bottle of water. The bathroom while older in style was clean and very well supplied. First time I have ever been supplied with a ‘razor kit’ a ‘dental kit’ and a comb in addition to the usual toiletries. There was a small kitchenette which we didn’t use on such a short trip but otherwise looked adequate. Breakfast was a treat in a lovely, and kwirky room. Lots of foods to choose from and I have to especially mention the lovely lady who looked after us at breakfast. She was patient and helpful as we tried out some Spanish. I would not hesitate to base myself here again for a visit to this wonderful city.

We were trying to reserve the hotel in Madrid today, and first of all, they had us waiting around 15 min on the line. We wanted to stay 1 night in the hotel in Madrid, everything went fine till we said we wanted to pay with Wonderbox, which is when, out of the sudden, everything was "fully booked" just because they expect to sell the hotel rooms for better price afterwards. Then the industry asks themselves how come AirBnB is eating them up - well, with this kind of "service" its kind of obvious, isn't it? Not only the Wonderbox customers aren't "second hand" ones, they mostly receive the packs as presents and well, as in our case, they will keep recommending their friends and acquaintances NOT to visit the hotel.

First floor and has got no (real) window. The view from the small window was terrible. It is clean and fits the need of sleeping. Breakfast was good and the Service Team very nice. Nevertheless I would not book it again.

The hotel is located near to the Prosperidad metro station. It is within walking distance to a multitude of bars, restaurants and shopping areas. It offers a continental breakfast that can be included in the cost of the room. Rooms come equipped with a kitchenette which is perfect for extended business trips. Laundry facilities available on the 6th floor and iron can be borrowed from the reception desk.

Very good aparthotel for the price payed. Breakfast is in a smaller room but has various offers included gluten free sweets, bread and so on. Our room was big, very clean and had a great wifi connection. The hotel is a little bit away from the center. If you need a very polite and good taxi driver with fair prices, I can recommend you Ismael. Tel. +34 608 91 91 94. This is no publicity, but I can really suggest him.

The hotel has a good location as it is not far from the city centre and the service is good, however there are different things that I didn't enjoy during my stay. My family and I arrived at night, we were hungry and didn't know where to eat. We asked the receptionist for a restaurant open at that time (Tuesday at 10:30pm) and he gave us a flyer with the information of a restaurant called "Taberna El Txacoli - Sidreria". This hotel clearly has a deal with this restaurant to send them clients, because the next day we learned that many other restaurants around were open at that time. We went to El Txacoli since we didn't know the area and we thought it was the only restaurant open. The food and the service there was very bad and expensive, and a member of my family got sick (food poisoning). As a result of this, we couldn't enjoy our visit to Madrid as my relative was sick for more than 5 days (vomit and diarrhea). Furthermore, in the hotel room, the shower area had a mold smell, and getting to the room was always kind of complicated because the corridor is dark and the lights didn't work. They change sheets and towels every three days (which is good for the planet and I don't have any problem with it), but when they changed the sheets on our 3rd day, they put a sheet with a blood stain! That was extremely disgusting... They also use a very bad quality toilet paper, which feels more like sand paper, the air conditioner doesn't work, internet is slow, the breakfast buffet has very limited options, etc. As I said before, the staff of this hotel is kind, but I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay at this hotel, for that price you can get something better. And please, never go to that "El Txacoli" restaurant, it will ruin your vacation!

Comfortable room, balcony and a well equipped kitchen. Friendly staff. Great location- 2 minutes from Prosperidad metro. Any guidance you may need regarding Madrid, the front desk is happy to help. We had a memorable stay.

The hotel itself is good. It's two minutes away from the metro station Prosperidad, and it takes around 20 minutes to get to the city center. The neighborhood is very quite, so if you want to escape loud and overcrowded streets with tourists, the location is pretty good. The reception is very small and the storage room for the baggage is even smaller. The room is nice, nothing special, very little furniture, wouldn't call it very comfortable, especially the pillows (not soft and very uncomfortable to sleep on). The only good thing about the room is that it has a small kitchen; we mostly used the fridge and microwave. Also, during the weekend it was impossible to sleep at night since we could here everything happening outside and inside the hotel. The housekeeping is not the best either, because the floor in our room wasn't cleaned properly. The breakfast is average, there is only cold food, so for that price I'd rather have breakfast at one of the places not far from the hotel. The hotel staff could be more friendly and welcoming. The woman at the reception didn't offer us any information at all. And when I wanted to extend my stay at the hotel, I've got a response that the hotel is full, although it was available on the online booking websites. Personally, I've only chosen that hotel because it's pet friendly and close to my university. But, if I had a choice, for that money I'd choose something located closer to the city center or at least something more comfortable.

We chose this hotel because of the facility (and of course the price) - kitchen and washing machine. Everything was more than we expected! Our room was very specious and the kitchen was good enough for us, we also could borrow an electric kettle and coffee maker (on the stove top) from the reception, which was very helpful. Washing machine was coin operated, again we could borrow a drying rack from the reception so we could dry our cloths in our room. The room was very very specious and comfortable, location was very good - short walk from metro/bus and there were several shops for foods near the metro station. We were happy we stayed here and we will stay again :)
