My husband and I were here three nights and we were happy with our stay. It’s a beautiful hotel, a former palace, and the entrance, lounge and stairs show this Our room faced Calle Atocha but it was quiet. It was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the free afternoon snacks before we went out for the night. We had breakfast once and it was reasonably priced at €14 per person with hot and cold choices including fruits Most importantly, the people at reception were very friendly and helpful. In particular, there was a female afternoon receptionist (whose name I forgot to ask) who helped me with restaurant suggestions and reservations, especially for my husband’s birthday. Thank you and I’ll keep this hotel in mind for next time

Very good choice in the city centre. Very close to everywhere. Staff very friendly. Rooms quiet, clean and very comfortable bed and bathroom. Breakfast is on a good quality and variety. Highly recommended.

A well situated hotel close to all major attractions. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was well equipped, comfortable and clean. Each day we had little treats delivered including chocolates, macaroons, fresh fruit etc. The buffet breakfast was quite comprehensive, with a good selections of hot and cold items as well as fruits, breads etc. etc. Everything was fresh and items were regularly replenished.

W worm homely hotel, elxcent location, spacious rooms, kind staff and helpful. Between 5-8 am a free afternoon drink with cakes and tapas. A very good buffet fool breakfast. A very quit, good service. The hotel is in a renovate antique spacial building.

We had a wonderful time in Madrid, and the hotel has part in it. It is a great hotel in a very good location and with excellent staff. We did not have breakfast in the hotel. The only setback was the fact that there was no reception on CNN of FOX news.

We were upgraded due to a booking issue, so we had the luxury of staying in the suite. Aside from that, the hotel was very beautiful and comfortable. It is in a great location, walking distance to most things. They offer a happy hour every afternoon with complimentary tapas. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Madrid.

Excellent location lovely staff & very clean rooms I would highly recommend a stay hear Madrid is a fantastic city. Lots of things to do & great places to eat.We will be going back in the near future.

I loved this hotel and is location. We stayed here 3 nights with friends . Staff was very friendly. Lobby inviting and courtyard great relaxing spot for coffee or drink to unwind. Rooms were spacious, quiet and comfortable, Large bathrooms. I loved the neighborhood it was in! Walk out the door and around the corner are many restaurants, wine bars, etc. 10min walk to Prado Museum and eve closer to Plaza Mayor which has a great choice of places to eat. Also can walk to Cathedral & Palace. Very good breakfast/lunch restaurant across the street. I will stay here when I return to Madrid.

We stayed for 4 days on a city trip. The hotel was spotless and the staff first rate. Breakfasts were excellent with a wide variety of options and plenty of them. The building was lovely and well decorated. A little bit expensive but for a city centre and great facilities not too bad

Nice modern hotel internally whilst still retaining some of its beautiful heritage features. Great location. Large clean comfortable room. Helpful and friendly staff. Good choice of food at breakfast. Nothing negative to say.
