The hotel was clean, the room was clean, the breakfast was good. We were here for my grandfather's funeral and my husbands suit/shirt/tie was hanging up in the room. We went out early in the day, then came back to get dressed for the funeral when my husband realized his tie was missing. We looked everywhere and couldn't find it and I went to the front desk to see if they had found it, which they responded with a very quick "no". So we are running low on time (grandfathers funeral- I'm already upset and anxious) and my husband runs to Walmart (conveniently across the street) to buy a tie, comes back and I tell him maybe he should ask the front again. So he does, same quick "no" but he presses a little more and she goes in the back and, what do you know! Housekeeping had "just brought down" the missing tie. What a miracle.
For the value, excellent place to stay. Beds are comfy and plenty of pillow. Hot tub was great. Room was a bit out dated, but that doesn't really bother me. Fruit was the only thing I can complain about.
I enjoyed the comfortable bed and the room was very affordable relative to most other Hamptons. However the room had a very weird smell and the carpet was not clean.overall I am happy but might not stay again.
Stayed here for about 4 weeks while working in the area. The rooms were always clean and the folks at the hotel were always friendly and welcoming. If you're in the area and looking for a place to stay, you should definitely consider the Hampton Inn & Suites!
Arrived late only to sleep while traveling. Staff was friendly and fast, the hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was decent to get back on the road in the morning. Overall it was a good stay and being a member of choice reward makes check in much faster.
I stayed in a King Suite--room 421 to be exact. The refrigerator was loud, and kept going off and on. However, the drinks and food remained cold. The bed is comfortable and we slept well. However, the chair in the living room is very stiff, and the couch squeaks. I would recommend this hotel, but maybe a different suite.
I was seeking to take my daughter to Louisville to see the Hunger Games exhibit. This was my first time to Kentucky. All the hotels around Louisville were $89-$150 per night. I have many Hilton and Hyatt points. I noticed this hotel was 15 minutes further than the Hyatt Place I was planning to redeem 8k Hyatt points per night. But for only 10k Hilton Honors points this hotel is a steal. I did not this this low of a Hilton redemption since using 10k points per night at the Hilton Garden Inn in Hanoi! It is much better deal using points than paying $103 per night at this hotel. It's almost like staying for free! The location is descent, right off the 65 highway. Simply take the 2nd street bridge instead of paying for the toll bridge. Don't use Waze gps as it does not give accurate and efficient guidance in this area.
We were on a road trip to WI. The hotel was conveniently located close to the Interstate. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a nice breakfast to start another leg on our trip. My wife and I highly recommend this hotel for your travels.
We made the mistake of believing the website and not reading more reviews of the Days Inn Seymour and made our reservation there. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE DAYS INN SEYMOUR. For whatever reason even though Seymour is out in the middle of nowhere and even though I've been coming to Seymour since I was a child, I can see no charm in Seymour. Which was why, when we fled the Days Inn and tried the Hampton, Holiday Inn, and Fairfield across the highway, I was surprised to find them all completely booked. On a Tuesday. In August. With the assistance of the Fairfield staff, I was able to get a room at this lovely hotel in Scottsburg, which has even less to offer than Seymour. However, we were greeted with warm cookies in the lobby and the knowledge that we would not be robbed in the middle of the night nor our car vandalized in the parking lot. If you must stay in sunny, southern Indiana and cannot book a quality hotel in Seymour, I highly recommend Scottsburg. Do not under any circumstances book a hotel room on the east side of the interstate in Seymour. Go to Scottsburg and stay at the Hampton Inn. You will be happy you did. Enjoy the cookies.
We stayed one night on our return from Alabama. Our expectations were low, considering that we stayed in a nearby LaQuinta Inn the previous week, which was overpriced and filthy. However, this Hampton FAR exceeded our expectations. Cookies and bottled water were complimentary at check-in, breakfast was delicious, bed comforters were cozy, decor was new and everything was VERY clean. The price was $50 less than comparable hotels! We will definitely stay at Hampton Inn in the future!
