Miss information about taxi. To the train station much less than quoted at hotel. I told the taxi driver he said thank you that is why they don’t get many calls.

The location was close to everything the staff was helpful and friendly the bathrooms were clean and seems renovated the floors were noisy when somebody walked in the adjacent rooms the rooms were bit old styled . It was a bit overpriced

Right in the center of everything. Close to all of the shopping and food/bars you need. Short walk to the famous sites in the city as well. No parking on site, I would recommend finding a garage especially on the weekend. Staff spoke English well and the hotel was updated yet still had a nice old city feel.

Stayed two nights. Very happy with the location as it is central to many places like the farmers market on Quai St-Antoine, restaurant street call Rue Merciere, also not far from the two rivers (Rhone and Saone) and the Basilica on Fourviere. Room size is OK. Heat and AC worked very well. Actually very much everything worked well. Wished they had coffee maker or at least a hot water kettle. Staff was friendly and spoke excellent English.

This was an average, affordable hotel in a terrific location. It was small, clean, and fine for the 3 days we spent there. It is located on a pedestrian street with a lot of shops and within easy walking distance of Old Lyon and public transportation. The lobby and rooms were a bit outdated. The wireless was excellent throughout the hotel. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Overall, a fine stay.

Warm welcome, comfortable room, with enuf room for luggage needed for a long trip

Extremely pleasant, friendly staff, great location, fair price.

Much of Lyon was closed for a holiday, but the desk personnel were very helpful directing us to good restaurants and shopping areas that might have open stores. The weather was very hot, the a/c very welcome! And the third bed was a real one!

The staff was incredibly helpful on an issue with my luggage. They went well out of their way to assist me get things cleared up including multiple phone calls to the train station and Geneva Airport. Location was great, room was clean, breakfast was good. I'd stay here again in an instant.

Inexpensive, restful, clean, professional- welcome stay in Lyon

We stayed one night in July 2009 on our way to Nice. The hotel was pretty much as expected - clean and quiet (we did not have a street view). It was a bit difficult to find by car as it appears to be on a street which you can't drive on but you can actually drive right up to the hotel and unload. We initially parked at Place Bellacour but the hotel said we should probably move our car to a safer lot which he gave us easy directions to - a 5 minute walk from the hotel. All in all the hotel was what was expected but nothing fancy. My only complaint was that the air conditioning was not very strong so it was a bit warm.

Travel to Lyon with my little dog Annie was delightful Thanks to Orbitz and La Residence Hotel . Shops and sites right at our doorstop. Friendly staff and free internet connection. At night I drank wine, Annie ate her first real french fries and we people watched at the cafe. It was a great adventure going to Lyon with my dog Thaks again to La Residence and Orbitz and of course Air France
