We were impressed with the very clean house. We enjoyed the comfortable beds, large kitchen with lots of counter space & large dining room. Our 2 college age kids had fun making cotton candy machine & popcorn popper that were available.

Cute house, very comfortable for us to stay. Safe neighborhood with friendly neighbors! It was fun and relaxing to hang outside on the deck see the downtown! Kitchen had most of what we needed, however only 2 things were missing- a pair of scissors and a working can opener. Otherwise- great house!

I rented Candy Apple for a vacation stay for my family of 13! We had plenty of room, the house was very clean and well stocked with games for our youngest grandchildren. It was a great central location for our historic day outings, and also central to many stores and great dinning options. The neighbors were very friendly as well! We had an absolute wonderful time and would highly recommend this house for your next vacation!!

Wedding Celebration

The Candy Apple is a beautiful, clean, spacious and well furnished home to rent for you r stay in Lynchburg. We were very impressed with the inside of the house. The beds were super comfy!! The parking is a bit tight. There is a very nice deck to use - unfortunately, carpenter bees galore. The cons were the wifi - we all had trouble - could not get wifi . Lastly, the yard was not useable; glad we did not have children. All in all this house served our purpose very nicely. !!

Family friendly home for your whole crew

We stayed at the Candy Apple for a wedding and the house was spacious enough to accommodate our whole group. It is large and kid friendly. We appreciated how open and clean it was. There was not any clutter or things we were afraid our children would break or mess up. We felt able to just "be" which was very nice.

What an awesome place for a family reunion

Five rooms and plenty of toys, books, cribs, bunks, etc., for kids/grandkids. The fenced back yard was great for our dog and there's a small park with playground equipment just two blocks away. The kitchen was spacious and allowed us to cook a few large meals. The eating space was big enough and the living room and rec rooms were great for everything we needed. Perhaps the bet part was showing up and finding that they had put up a Christmas tree for us! The beds were comfortable and the heating/cooling system was great. Bathrooms were clean and in good working order. The entire house was a great facility for comfort, entertainment, children, and good times together.

Awesome House!

We came to see my daughter who is a student at Liberty University. The house was adorable. The river in the back yard was an added plus! It is well stocked with games and toys for children. It was a great weekend for us!

Ideal Home Base for Lynchburg Stay - Spacious & Comfortable

We booked this VRBO in Lynchburg, VA for our son's college track meet, and it couldn't have been a better choice! The house was wonderfully spacious, offering plenty of room for our son, a couple of his teammates, and ourselves. Everyone had comfortable areas to relax and unwind. The property had a view that included the river, but even better for the guys was the trail they had easy access to for long runs along the river. The VRBO itself was well-equipped and comfortable. Everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay was provided. We highly recommend this VRBO to anyone seeking a spacious and comfortable place to stay in Lynchburg.

Perfect Retreat with Exceptional Hospitality

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Candy Apple! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness and charm of the accommodation. The location is perfect, being conveniently close to downtown and all the local attractions. Lisa was incredibly hospitable and provided all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The cozy interior made me feel right at home, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like local guidebooks, complimentary snacks. Communication was seamless, and host was always quick to respond to any questions I had. I highly recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a delightful and stress-free experience. I can't wait to return on my next visit!

Nice home for multiple families

We enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. We had four adults and seven children, there was plenty of room and beds for everyone. The house was clean, kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to make meals at home. It was so convenient having some essentials supplied by the host such as coffee, sugar, shampoo, conditioner, paper towels, etc. The beds were super comfy. I had read in some previous reviews that the noise from the factory behind the house was disturbing, we definitely agree. We came prepared with ear plugs but the noise from the fork trucks in the middle of the night woke us up several times. The neighborhood was ok. Not exactly the nicest but we did not have any problems and we did not feel unsafe. The owner quickly responded to questions we had prior to our stay and check in was very easy. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home for a vacation.

Candy Apple Christmas Vacation

Property is adorable and spacious. It had a special treat of a gorgeous big Christmas tree. We did have an issue with oven not working but management responded timely and maintenance arrived within a few hours. TV’s only had streaming. No national stations which was not ideal. But overall the house was great.
