yes, i think that is 4star hotel, i had upper standard room, i think so. + city center + breakfast really good quality + clean - reception: lack of professionalism (check out time 9 minutes), 20 minutes to check in (queue), while customer service talking to collegues a lot, - price high - upper rooms: small
We visited Lviv for 3 days for work and we booked a ‘suite’ in this Hotel. The room was furnished with really really old furniture and was in desperate need for renovation. From the moment we entered the room we realized that the bed mattress was the worst quality. By putting any weight on it one could almost touch the floor(!!) We immediately called and asked if they could please replace our mattress with a normal one. They said they would look into it. We went to eat sth in the restaurant of the hotel, wanting to give them time to fix the situation. In the restaurant it took them one hour to bring us the COLD appetizers that we ordered and when they finally brought them they were frozen.... we went back to the room, checked the mattress and it was still the same. We called and they said they replaced it. We said, that it is the exact same quality of mattress, so it won’t work. Another colleague that was also staying in this hotel showed us her room which was renovated and had a normal bed and a normal mattress to it. We went to the reception and asked them to move us in one of the smaller but renovated rooms and they refused because they said they didn’t have availability. We asked them what solution they would propose and they didn’t have anything to say. So we went online and booked another hotel, since it was impossible to sleep on that mattress. The worst part came when we asked for our money back and they said a refund is not possible (!!!) we ended up being treated the worst possible way, we asked to talk to someone in charge, but no one really listened to us or wanted to help in anyway. They even brought in security because we were ‘being loud’ while arguing with them...... in the end we got back our money just for the one of two nights. Horrible experience.
I was staying here for a few nights when visiting friends. Good location - great view of the city center. Room was alright. Staff was also alright. Great breakfast buffer, excellent choice of food and drinks.
The rooms are ok, the floors are a bit dirty and stinky. Only for sleeing it‘s fine and it‘s similar the western 4* hotels, but with the Ukrainian touch. Yes, I would come again, but obly for working and sleeping. Too much details can be made easily better.
Booked a room for two nights here. It’s 5 minutes walk to center of Lviv. We got a nice and cozy room. I also asked airport pick up one thing im disappointed about is that they have to charge extra hours for waiting in the airport which is 150 uah per hour. I like the varieties of food in the buffet. I cannot say alot more coz mostly we spend our whole day outside. My verdict is 8/10.
The cheapest rooms are quite ok. Staff very helpful. The breakfast very very good. If you are the cheapest room - ask for a view of the park. Taxis are always available. If you want to go to the center, then you only have to walk through the park and another quarter, then you are ahead
Stayed here for three nights during a meeting i attented here. Good central location( about 10 min walk from the city center ) on a small and quiet street, comfortable beds, good breakfast with plenty of choices, free parking. The room didn t have tea facilities and also the front desk people didn t speak english. Overall a pleasant stay in a lovely city.
Central location. The city center is a 10-15 minutes walk away through the nearby park. From the outside this hotel looks rather Sovjet-style, but the interior has a modern look and good facilities. The staff is friendly. The breakfast buffet is plentiful with local food. Rooms towards the park and city offer a stunning view. My room was very quiet. On the homepage the hotel claims to have an environmental profile, but this was not evident during my visit. Housekeeping changes the towels every day and it is not a possibility to leave your towels on the rack to keep them an extra day. I stayed on the sixth floor, which is supposedly a non-smoking floor. Unfortunately a large ashtray outside on the gallery revealed that smoking does take place on the non-smoking floor.
I stayed at this hotel for a conference. The room and bathroom were good and the maid service was good and unobtrusive. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. The staff refilled things as needed and whisked dirty dishes away. The only problem was that there was usually a queue at the coffee machine, as it just made one cup at a time. (The coffee was excellent.)The bar/restaurant was OK, but the service was noticeably slow in the evening. It has everything you would expect for a 4- or 5-star hotel, and you pay for it. I gather that there are cheaper places in Lviv of a similar standard.
Cleaning staff forgot to change the supplies (bottled water, shampoo etc.) a few times. Also forgot to take out the trash sometimes (not very often). Very good location. Inflated prices, I think. Panorama bar, restaurant and cafe are good.
