Step back in time

From the well equipped kitchen to the beautiful wood floors along with the antique furnished Settings, the home was absolutely delightful. The yard was very large for our three-year-old granddaughter to play in. The location was absolutely idea and easily within walking distance to restaurants, the mall and many other things.

Very nice place

This house was VERY clean. The owner gave good instructions for check in & out. Unlike some other places we've stayed, there wasn't a whole list of cleaning we needed to do before we checked out. We loved the charm of the old house along with the big yard. Highly recommend!

Amazing host

Cynthia is very easy to work with - she is extremely responsive & exceeded my expectations. She made arrangements to bring us a pack-n-play & highchair. The house is very comfortable and well appointed. The check out process was easy. We were in the area for a wedding, but if we ever have a need to come back to Lufkin we will definitely hope to stay at Cynthia’s property.

Perfect place and location!

A group of friends visited for a conference in Lufkin and turned it into a Galentines weekend. This property was absolutely perfect! The owner thought of everything (even a plug in next to the chair on the back porch). If we’re ever in town again, I would definitely consider coming back here again!

A Cozy Space for Welcoming in the New Year!

The property was everything and more than anticipated! We arrived to a warm home, outfitted with holiday cheer. The beds and furniture were all very comfortable, and we had plenty of space for me and my 6 children, ranging in age from 3 yo to 20 yo to spread out. We welcomed additional family for meals and games - we had a great visit and enjoyed the lovely background for making memories. We'll be back for sure! Cynthia is a warm, welcoming, and responsive host! She was great to work with.

Such a great place.

This is such a wonderful property. Our host thought of every detail and all the extras too. Check in was super easy, the home was clean and inviting ( there was even a small Christmas tree in the living room. ) We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. When we come back to town, this will definitely be our first place to look for availability. Charming.

Amazing stay

This farmhouse was wonderful. Tucked away in the woods a stone's throw away from all the stores and restaurants. Cynthia was great answering questions when we had them. We would book again no hesitation. We've stayed at a lot of vrbos and this one really sets the bar. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!
