Herbstferien in der Toskana

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt bei Mara und ihrer Schwester. Wir wurden von beiden sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Wohnung ist wunderschön gelegen und schön eingerichtet. Wir hatten großes Glück mit dem Wetter, so konnten wir morgens unseren Kaffee noch gemütlich draußen trinken. Die Wohnung liegt etwas außerhalb mitten im Grünen und trotzdem war alles schnell erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank

Superschöne Anlage, klein und sehr herzlicher Empfang

Wir haben bereits zum zweiten Mal unseren Familienurlaub hier verbracht und waren wieder begeistert von der herrlichen Lage, der netten Betreiberfamilie, dem leckeren Essen und dem tollen Pool mit Blick auf das Meer. Es sind nur wenige kleine Appartements in der Anlage und deshalb fühlt man sich auch sehr wohl. Ausflugsziele gibt es auch genug in der Gegend, so dass es nie langweilig wird. Die kleineren Kinder spielten immer sehr gern Fußball mit dem Hund.

Wunderbare Unterkunft!

Prato Verde ist wunderschön in den Hügeln gelegen und man hat einen fantastischen Ausblick vom Pool auf das Meer und die Umgebung. Mara und die Familie sind überaus zuvorkommend, das Abendessen war jedes Mal sehr lecker. Wir kommen bestimmt nochmal.

Entspannter Urlaub in herrlicher ruhiger Natur

Wir haben zwei tolle Wochen im Prato Verde verbracht und konnten so richtig entspannen! Die Wohnung ist sauber und gemütlich. Der Pool ist schön groß (18m), sehr sauber mit toller Wasserqualität und traumhaftem Blick auf das Meer. Wir konnten jeden Tag schwimmen und es ist super, dass nicht so viele Leute dort sind. Die Umgebung ist herrlich- man kann schon von der Terrasse weit ins Land schauen während man dort seinen Espresso genießt. Abends hört man Uhus und Steinkäuze rufen und tagsüber sonnen sich die Eidechsen auf der Terrasse. Wir waren auch oft bei der Familie Angeli im angrenzenden Restaurant essen - abends oder am Morgen…das Essen war fantastisch! Vielen lieben Dank Familie Angeli für den tollen Urlaub!😁

Excellent séjour au calme dans une propriété familiale

Nous avons une très bonne semaine dans l'appartement Ginestra qui est très spacieux, fonctionnel. Les 2 terrasses sont très agréables et permettent de profiter des extérieurs en fonction du moment de la journée. La piscine avec vue panoramique est exceptionnelle ! Ne manquez pas d'aller goûter la cuisine du restaurant tenu par Mara et sa famille, c'est un régal. A recommander sans hésitation.

Eine phantastische Ruheoase im Familienbetrieb

Sensationell ist der Pool mit Blick über die ganze Bucht. Wohnung absolut top. Die ganze Familie Angeli ist supernett und das leckere Essen kochen Sie auch noch selbst. Wir haben wunderschöne 2 Wochen im Hotel Prato Verde verbracht. Es war immer wieder schön nach einem Ausflug in diese herrliche Ruhe zurückzukehren. Auch die Tage am Pool waren super. Man konnte sich gar nicht an diesem herrlichen Ausblick sattsehen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Great stay!

Very nice and beautiful place up in the mountains! The pool area is fantastic with the most gorgeous view. The food in the restaurant is great and also the wine and olive oil Mara and her family produce themselves. The nearby town Lucca is also wonderful to visit, very cosy!

Einfach nur traumhaft schön

Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Die Wohnung war sauber. Man hat jede Menge Platz und je nach Stand der Sonne verschiedene Terrassen. Der Poll auf dem Berg mit Blick auf Pisa und aufs Meer könnte in einem 5 Sterne Hotel stehen. Und das Essen im dortigen Restaurant ist ein Traum

Toller Silvesteraufenthalt 2015/16

Super Wohnung! Sehr sauber! Alles vorhanden! Wir konnten bei Mara auch sehr, sehr gut essen. Zentraler Ausgangspunkt für Besichtigungen aller Art. Lucca in 10 Minuten zu erreichen! Ruhige Lage!

Séjour aux environs de Lucca

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour au "Prato Verde" appartement Ginestra. Il répondait à toutes nos attentes : spacieux, bien équipé, bien agencé et très propre. La présence de deux terrasses nous permettait de prendre tous les repas à l'extérieur malgré un été très chaud. La piscine a fait la joie de tous les membres de la famille, petits et grands. C'est un site calme qui est toutefois proche des commerces et des sites touristiques. La présence du restaurant est indéniablement un plus. Nous y avons dégusté de succulents plats de la gastronomie italienne.

Wohlfühlen zwischen Bergen und Meer

Wer so freundlich, so fleißig ist und so sensationell gut kochen kann, wie Mama, Papa, Laura und Mara, hat sich das "Prato Verde" wirklich verdient!!! Wir haben zwei wunderschöne Wochen im Appartement Ginestra genossen.Große Terrassen, zwei Schlafräume, top Sonnenliegen, super Salzwasserpool, alles da, was der Urlauber braucht! Wir haben jeden Tag im Restaurant gegessen-dieLasagne, die Pasta frita oder das Carpachio vom Schwertfisch alles Gourmetträume, die in Errineruung bleiben werden. Das Prato Verde liegt traumhaft zwichen Bergen und Meer. Acht Kilometer von Lucca, eine gemütliche alte Stadt zum Einkaufen und flanieren.Zum Meer 20 Minten Autofahrt und Pisa und Florenz sind auch nicht weit. Insgesamt ist das Prato Verde etwas für ruhesuchende Urlauber, die heiß auf Kultur, Meer, Berge, gutes Essen und auf toskanisches Flair sind. WIR KOMMEN WIEDER!

Wunderschöne Unterkunft mitten im Grünen

Wir waren eine Woche in der Wohnung Glicine. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, sauber, geräumig und bietet alles was man braucht mit zwei wunderschönen Terrassen, eine mit Schatten morgens und eine mit Schatten abends. Mara und Ihre Schwester sind sehr freundlich. Unsere Kinder waren auch begeistert vom Pool und den vielen Eidechsen. Die Umgebung ist schön angepflanzt, es ist richtig idyllisch. Einziges Problem: Durch die bodentiefen Fenster sind von außen verspiegelt und somit nicht einsehbar, dafür gib es weder Rolläden, Fensterläden noch Schnakengitter und wir mussten immer mit geschlossenen Fenstern schlafen, was ziemlich heiß und stickig war.

Top Wohnung in schöner Lage, mit gutem Restaurant

Wir waren Ende September für 10Tage in der Wohnung Ginestra und können nur positives berichten. Die Fotos versprechen nicht zu viel, die Aussicht ist traumhaft und die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und sehr geräumig. Es ist nur eine kurze Treppe hinauf bis zum Pool, der auf jeden Fall ausreichend groß ist. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist komplett, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Das Restaurant müssen wir empfehlen, es liegt auf dem Grundstück unweit der Wohnung und das Essen ist ein Traum. Es ist frisch und sehr lecker. Wer Meeresfrüchte und Fisch mag sollte sich diese nicht entgehen lassen, man braucht nur einen Tag vorher zu bestellen, es lohnt sich. Der Hauswein und die hausgemachten Nachtische liegen auf demselben leckeren Niveau und alles zu fairen Preisen. Mara, Laura und alle anderen, sind ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit. Selbst unsere nicht vorhandenen Italienisch- und durchaus nicht perfekten Englischkenntnisse waren kein Hindernis. Man versteht sich auch so bestens. Wir fühlten uns jeder Zeit willkommen, wie man es nicht überall erlebt. Die Wohnung liegt sehr gut um Ausflüge zu machen. Der Strand von Viareggio ist eine halbe Autostunde entfernt und übrigens zu dieser Jahreszeit fast leer, und das bei sehr angenehmen 26 Grad, die wir fast die ganze Zeit hatten. Auch Pisa kann man sehr gut erreichen, es liegt in ähnlicher Entfernung. Ein Tip; wer in Pisa essen will, sollte nicht unbedingt die Restaurants in der Nähe des Turms nehmen, die nur mit billigen Preisen werben. Lieber etwas weiter gehen und kleinere aufsuchen. Wer nicht weit fahren möchte ist schnell in Lucca, wo man auch die Lebensmittelgeschäfte findet, es sind etwa 15 Minuten mit dem Auto. Die Stadt sehr schön und hat eine sehenswerte Innenstadt mit vielen netten kleinen Restaurants und Geschäften zu bieten. Wer es ruhiger mag kann an der breiten und grünen Stadtmaueranlage entlang schlendern, oder während der Mittagszeit die Stadt erkunden, dann ist es angenehm ruhig. Ab 16.00 öffnen die Geschäfte dann wieder und es kommt wieder ein lebendiges Treiben in die kleinen Gässchen. Oder man genießt einfach die Ruhe auf der eigenen Terrasse und schaut den Geckos zu, die sich in der Sonne wärmen. Auch Florenz kann man für einen Tagesausflug sehr gut erreichen. Alles in allem können wir auf eine schöne Zeit mit netten Menschen in einer entspannten Atmosphäre sowie der schönen Landschaft und sehr gutem Essen zurückblicken, Wiederholung nicht ausgeschlossen.

lovely apartment in a great location

Our week long stay at the Ginestra commenced with a lovely welcome from Mara and Laura which included a bottle of fine wine and bruschetta. The apartment was ideal for our family of 4, clean, spacious and with lovely views. The location is ideal for either relaxing by the pool, exploring the region or visiting the beaches.The restaurant on the site is a must, serving great local produce at very reasonable prices and served with a smile always. We would recommend the Ginestra and would be happy to return again some day. Richard Derby England

Great place to stay and enjoy Lucca

Had the pleasure of staying here for a week. Nice location, secluded, quiet, but close enough to enjoy surrounding area. Kitchen is fully equipped, nice big bathroom and the King bed was very comfortable. The outdoor patio area was great for breakfast and afternoon wine. The best was the cooking class that Mara and 'Mama', the chef gave us. It was fun, and we were able to eat what we cooked with the entire family at lunch. Mara's dad is a sweetheart, and her two children and nephew were fun to talk to. Mara greeted us with a bottle of wine and appetizers. Make sure you take advantage of their restaurant. The food is delicious and prices very reasonable. Ciao

Mara and her family were very welcoming and we were invited for complimentary bruchetta and the fabulous della casa vino rosso.. the best red wine I have ever tasted! The apartment was so well presented with fresh flowers in the bedroom and the 2 terraces were roomy and sunny..! Unfortunately we did not experience the pool but looked very inviting. The views are somewhat hampered now by the high trees.. but you are just able to see the lake from the woods at the top of the garden. It does state WI-FI but there is none, which was a disappointment to us and it was one of the criteria for booking the holiday. Free wi-fi is available in Lucca at various locations. We don't watch TV but the apartment only has german channels, so a bit of an update would be good.. maybe a DVD player and or stereo would have been nice too. The restaurant served fabulous food.. the antipasto was delicious.. but don't order too much to follow.. you won't have room!! :o) For the best part it was very peaceful, however, we did experience 2 very large weddings at the restaurant. One of them did not affect us too badly as it was during the day, so we went out. The other however, did not start until late afternoon early evening and although the noise of people enjoying themselves and the music did not worry us too much, the ongoing hooter blasts well into the early hours was a little too much especially after a long day travelling. So be aware that the peace and tranquility that you crave may be shattered if there is a function on. The Italian roads.. especially the mountain ones were at times terrifying.. and some of the Italian drivers were even scarier.. my advice.. expect the unexpected.. if they indicate then they ARE coming out, they are not waiting for you to let them out! So be bold.. do not hesitate, because they certainly don't. We visited numerous places and Lucca in particular was a delight! Thank you Mara and family!

Sehr schöner Urlaubsort!

Sehr schöner Urlaubsort! Hier kann man sehr gut von der Arbeit abschalten. Die Lage ist wunderschön, eine herrliche Sicht übers Naturschutzgebiet bis ans Meer. Von der Ferienwohnung aus kann man sofort in den Wald und spazieren gehen, das fand unser Hund besonders toll. Die Wohnung ist schön und gut ausgestattet, alles zum wohlfühlen. Im Restaurant konnten wir sehr gut speisen, wenn wir keine Lust hatten selbst zu Kochen. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Urlaub, der Ort ist weiter zu empfehlen und wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Easter at Ginestra

We stayed in Ginestra for four nights over the Easter weekend and enjoyed it very much. It is a large and light apartment with very nice kitchen facilities. We found it very clean and were welcomed with a nice bottle of local wine and plate of delicious bruschetta from the owner's restaurant just below. The weather at Easter was a bit cold and rainy so we were not able to benefit from the patio but the heating worked well and we stayed nice and warm. When the clouds lifted, the views from the top of the hill were spectacular and our daughter enjoyed the swing, slide and an Easter egg hunt in the garden above the apartment. Since we have a small child, we found eating early at the owner's Prato Verde restaurant every evening to be very convenient. It took us a while to figure out the menu but by the end we were eating very good home-style food.and we enjoyed the local wine. The only thing I felt the apartment lacked was wireless internet access (wifi) and a decent TV.The owner was very courteous and easy to deal with. Our booking and deposit was easily and graciously handled. We also felt it very good value for money.
