Situated i-27 next to other hotels this is a good choice for an overnight stay. Paid $70 for the night. The check in was pleasant and smooth. Girl on reception was helpful with our wi-Fi issues. Rooms were large and comfortable with all the amenities. Good hot breakfast included in the rate. If you turn left out of the hotel and walk for 15 mins arrive at bryans steaks, worth a visit.
This was one of the most craziest visits I ever encounter when I approached the front desk I wanted to pay for a room with a credit card she still insisted that I paid a $300 deposit before I rented the room. All other hotels would except credit card as deposits in case there was problems with the room. She was rude selfish and mean and if she does not fire I will tell other Travelers about my experience and how this discriminant event changed my future business...
Blanket dirty, bathroom dirty - bathtub had stains and floor has never been cleaned very good. Phone and remote for TV grungy. A/C extremely loud. Did not get requested adjoining room or extra pillows. Sink was terrible, the overflow was so filthy - mold, grunge nothing could get through it if it had to. Overall terrible, will never stay at Eco-lodge or a Patel hotel ever again. Price for this discussing room $79.00 +
Room was ok, clean. Breakfast was ok to me. Cereal was stale. My husband told manager. It must have made him mad as he didn't look happy. They never changed it or threw it out. Pool was warm which was a good thing. It wasn't freezing cold.
The hotel is fine... clean friendly easy access to highway I am a side sleepers. These beds were very very uncomfortable. Springs digging into my shoulder caused lack of sleep both nights. I still have lain in my left arm. Two days later. Pillows were nice- from firm to extra soft.
Busy weekend in Lubbock, so we didn't have much choice, but this was worse than I expected. Dated, dirty, poor quality towels and toiletries. Walls super thin. We got a call that our tv (turned really pretty low) was keeping our neighbors awake. Honestly, we could hear every step from the floor above and so I think it's a problem with the poor construction of the building. Terrible AC. It didn't cool well, was noisy (good white noise for sleep though) and didn't remove humidity from room. We got the "accessible" room so the sink was in the bedroom part so you had to wake the other person up rather than being able get ready in the bathroom if the other person was sleeping. Bed was hard as a board with lumpy small pillows. Terrible coffee and only one packet. Complimentary breakfast was fine. Standard fare. Worst, thing was that the Internet did not work at all in our room. All in all a most disappointing stay. Was glad when we could leave.
We stayed here for my daughters basketball tournament. The place was decent. The breakfast was good. It was easy access from the freeway. The AC worked great. A little too cold but I'm not complaining.
Outside looks recently redone. Good looking inside too. Rates are inexpensive location is convenient to my jobsite. Room was comfortable. It is appropriately priced, maybe even a little low. Not a 5 star hotel, but affordable and comfortable.
Was just needing a good hotel for a night that wasn't too expensive - this was perfect. Parking lot was very well-lit. Staff was friendly. Room was very nice and very clean. They offered a large, expanded breakfast. As stated by other reviewers - this location was a Quality Inn but is now an Econolodge - but it is nothing like other budget hotels. Definitely worth a stop here.
Don't be confused by the Name issue (Econo-lodge) After having driven 6 hours from Colorado this was a true Oasis. We are originally from Central Texas and had taken a vacation in Colorado. We had stayed at several hotels/motels and were less pleased. The indoor pool was awesome especially trying to keep up with (2) teenage girls. The breakfast wasn't your run of the mill cereal and waffle. They sever eggs, bacon, potatoes, biscuits with gravy along with all the others. Our room was a double queen with ample space and comfortable beds. The evening and morning desk clerk were very cheery and helpful. Oh, for those who have mobility issues there is a large elevator that takes you to the second floor.
