Discover the perfect retreat at our charming two-story house in Norton Commons! With three bedrooms and 2.5 baths, this cozy haven accommodates six adults/children. The master bedroom boasts a king bed, memory foam mattress, Smart TV, and en-suite bath. Two additional bedrooms feature a queen and two twin beds, both with Smart TVs. Enjoy full access to the house, excluding the unfinished basement. Need baby essentials? Request our portable crib, booster, and baby gates. Get ready to relax and make memories!

Everything you need is within a 10 to 15 minute walk in the neighborhood, including the YMCA. If you leave the neighborhood, there is major outdoor shopping center, Costco, Target, Walmart, Kroger, Walgreens, restaurants and hospitals within a 10 to 15 minute drive.

AGE REQUIREMENT: Reserving guest must be at least 25 years of age and must be present during the entire rental period. No third-party bookings allowed. A photo of government IDs required for each registered adult and must be provided within 72 hours of booking.

MAXIMUM GUESTS: The maximum amount of overnight guests is 6 (sleeps up to 6 adults/children). Only guests listed on the reservation are allowed to stay overnight at the property. Day guests are allowed with prior approval.

NO PETS: No pets are allowed, including emotional support animals and therapy animals. If it is discovered a pet is on the property, all guests will be asked to leave the home immediately with no refund for the remainder of the reservation. Also request that any potential guest with an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) service animal please message before booking.

SMOKING/NICOTINE PRODUCTS/ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES PROHIBITED: The home is a nicotine-free establishment. No cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, cigars, vaping devices, illegal substances, etc., are permitted on the property, indoors or outdoors.

NO PARTIES, EVENTS, OR LARGE GATHERINGS: Guests are prohibited from organizing or allowing a disruptive party or event, or large gatherings. If it is discovered there is a violation of this rule, all guests will be asked to leave the home immediately with no refund for the remainder of the reservation.

QUIET HOURS: The home is located in a residential neighborhood. As a general courtesy, we ask that guests be mindful of the amount of noise they create, especially between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.

PARKING: Vehicles may be parked in two assigned parking spaces. Street parking also available.

SECURITY CAMERAS/RECORDING DEVICES: For the security of our guests and the safety of our home, we have security cameras/recording devices located on the outside of the home focused on entrances to the property, as well as the backyard . Guests should not attempt to disable or move the security cameras/recording devices.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2.5 bathrooms, and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker.

Our stay at Peppermint Cottage was amazing! Peppermint Cottage was even more warm and welcoming than the beautiful photos posted! In addition, the finer touches Nicole (host) thoughout were above and beyond - welcoming at every turn! Everything a guest would need was available as stated.Restaurants and boutique shopping within walking distance, as well as Peppermint Cottage is within a wonderful walking neighborhood. Norton Commons Gem

Peppermint Cottage is a fabulous place to stay. The home is very clean and well stocked and Nicole is easy to communicate with. Norton Commons is a walkable neighborhood but also still conveniently located near the highway if you are traveling elsewhere. We hope to return in the future!

Beautiful House

The house was perfect for our family to stay at for a convention. We loved being outside of downtown. The neighborhood is so nice and the house was very clean. She had any and everything you could possibly need for your stay. The beds were very comfortable, and she even left snack baskets for us with loads of snacks! In town for a simple weekend to see family. This place is in a great location and was very clean. I’ve used Vrbo to book all my travels over the last few years. Amazing Home

This is by far the best home we have ever stayed in. The host was phenomenal. The neighborhood was something out of a movie. The design and decor of the home was straight out of a magazine. This host thought of everything. From the Starbucks Keurig cups and snacks, to the toiletries, this host thoughtfully prepared their home for our maximum comfort. If ever in Kentucky again I will definitely stay here again.

We booked our stay at Peppermint Cottage less than 24 hours in advance. Despite the short notice, Nicole made our stay so incredibly welcoming and comfortable. She had decorated the house for Halloween, stocked Halloween-themed snacks for kids, provided s’mores ingredients, and more. Everything we could have needed was provided, and everything from the furniture to the plates was of high quality and in excellent condition. Nicole also went out of her way to share information about the neighborhood and local area when we mentioned we were there on a house hunting trip. Our stay at Peppermint Cottage was easily the best stay at a vacation rental our family has ever experienced and I will absolutely be recommending this location to future guests of ours who visit the area. Sweet as candy

You are greeted by a sweet hidden row of about 6 adjoining cottages with small, private back yards, and inviting front porches. You are located in a growing family oriented neighborhood near a number of restaurants, shops, and not too far from downtown and the sights of Louisville. The condo is comfortably furnished and bright and inviting. There were 6 of us and we had enough space to be together but to also find seclusion and privacy when needed. The kitchen is well appointed and we were treated to some snacks and coffee left by our host who communicated fully and clearly on the logistics to ensure a great stay and so that we would be welcomed back. And…we do want to be welcomed back. With family in this area, we hope to make Peppermint Cottage a “regular” spot to visit.

Best VRBO stay EVER!

My family and I stayed at the Peppermint Cottage for 1 month during our house renovation. I have stayed at 20+ VRBOs in the past and this place was by far the best. There wasn't a detail missed. The cottage provided so many games to keep my kids busy. The details of added necessary amenities and toiletries like paper towels, tissues, qtips, coffee, creamer and lotions was honestly beyond what is expected in a VRBO The king bed in the master was awesome. My husband and I sleep on a Tempur Pedic at home and this bed made us equally as happy. Nicole was so easy to work with and was always very quick to respond to any questions I had. I cannot wait to stay at this VRBO again! Thank you Nicole for a great month away from home!

Everything you need!

We visited family for Thanksgiving. We decided to rent a VRBO instead of a hotel. Norton Commons is a beautiful community-it’s like Seaside, Florida. We arrived at 11 pm, but the lights were on, fridge filled with waters and 3 charcuterie trays. Coffee, real creamer, tea, oatmeal and all types of snacks were also sitting out. There were toothbrushes, toothpaste, feminine products, etc. also in each bathroom. We have stayed in VRBO’s for years and years, this was over the top. The house was clean and nice. Beds were very comfortable. Great stay! Nicole is very helpful.
