Residence Inn by Marriott Louisville Airport

The hotel staffs were very friendly. Orbitz helped to book my reservation without any trouble.

We arrived after midnight. The night clerk was very friendly and our room ready and clean. Check in was a piece of cake. I was a little concerned that since it was by the airport it might be noisy, but it was not. Room had full size fridge, stove and oven, microwave and even a dishwasher along with Kitchen essentials. The shower was Great!

This Residence Inn definitely lives up to the Marriott name. It's a super fast 4 minutes from the airport. Check-in was a breeze and the desk attendant was very kind. There was ample parking, even late at night. The room was great and even had a gas fireplace! Bathroom is small, but the shower had plenty of room. I didn't eat at the breakfast buffet, but it smelled good. The only downside was the not-so-comfy pullout sofa bed mattress. I'd stay here again in a second!

We stay here often because we like the large room with a full kitchen and its location.

The breakfast was pretty bad and the sleeper sofa was just as bad but besides that it was great in every other way. Clean with a lot of room and good central location. The hotel was completely packed but it was still quiet and clean.

I book almost every weekend. I book looking for 2 things; a good bed and a great breakfast. This one did have a nice bed. The breakfast opens at 7am on Sat. I was there right at 7am and everything was already gone. I was told that they were booked up and the other guests got there early and it would take time to refresh the food. Ok people you knew how many people booked the night before. Be ready for them at 7am. PS: have it ready before 7am. If that many people were lined up at 7 then clearly you need to have it ready earlier. Sunday I got there at 7:30am giving them time to refresh and...the Orange Juice was out. They said it was thawing out before they could put it into their machine. That should have been done the night before. Sorry but I need a great breakfast because at my job I get no lunch and dont get to eat until 6pm. I will not go here again for the total lack of a quality cook staff.

For two straight days our room was not properly cleaned. On one day, small towels were not left but a note from the room cleaner saying she would bring some later was on the counter...they never came. On our last day at the hotel, the room was not cleaned at all. By the time we were back to the hotel all service personnel were gone and I had to go to the front desk just to get clean towels.

It was a short stay and my only criteria was close to the airport. It fulfilled that but did more, however. Everyone was courteous upon my arrival; wondering what brought me to Louisville and wishing me luck when they found it was an audition. The complimentary breakfast was satisfactory; the room was spacious and well laid out. The free shuttle took me to the grocery store immediately upon request and waited the couple of minutes I was inside. All in all, high quality.

we were in town for the National American Miss Pageant for my granddaughter....the staff here were very helpful when needing directions the room was very clean and comfortable and I would recommend this hotel to others

I did not spend much time at the hotel, however, while I was there this was certainly one of the finer places I have stayed. The staff was both professional and friendly, and were able to accommodate my needs surrounding transportation to and from the airport. The continental breakfast provided a diverse selection of menu options and, of course, was delicious. The room itself, both clean and comfortable, was spacious and a nice fit away from home. The only issue was the hotel's proximity to the airport, where my window was directly behind the jet wash of departing planes. As I mentioned before, I wasn't there very often and takeoffs ceased around 10:30-11:00p.

I was in Louisville for a nephew's graduation and stayed 2 nights. Loved the apartment type feel and the coziness of the room. Was minutes from the airport which was wonderful. The staff was kind, courteous and attentive. I would definitely stay again!

One day visit with my son

The staff could not have been nicer. They did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable from responding to requests to packing us a breakfast bag for an early morning departure flight. Everyone smiled and made us feel at home. We were impressed with the service and the hotel itself. The suites were so nice and the beds were firmer than usual. I actually slept. They even had a grocery service available.

Close to airport. Breakfast. Got in late and was able to purchase a beer to take back to room and wind down.

It was perfectly located in the center of all our travel destinations. The only confusing thing was the addresses on the buildings. Marriott Courtyard, Inn, Residence...we went to the wrong building, then came to realize there was no indoor pool available for the Residence guests. I asked if we could use the Courtyard's pool and they said we can try but they don't like the idea even though they send their guests to the Residence to use their laundry facilities.

Work

Spacious, well-equipped room. Best reading lamps of any place I have ever stayed. Good bed. Quiet, effective air conditioning. Ample breakfast.

I was very surprised by the amazing staff at this hotel. Very friendly, very accomodating. Breakfast was also MUCH better than anticipated. Room was very clean, well stocked and very quiet. I am happy to recommend this hotel.

We had 2 rooms reserved for this business trip. The rooms very spacious, clean and accommodating. Unfortunately, one of the rooms had a broken air conditioning unit and the guest staying there had to switch rooms around 1 am. Otherwise, no problems.

excellent service good food been nice if there was a store close by but overall would definetly stay again
