Wonderful, relaxing trip. The hotel was beautiful. The service outstanding. All of the staff were amazing especially Hugo Ardines & Omar Hernandez poolside who never let a drink go dry! We’ll be back!
From the time we arrived until the time we left the service was 2nd to none. Our room was breathtaking from overall size to view. With all inclusive food and beverage I was shocked at the 5 star quality of the dining.
We have traveled pretty extensively and have never been treated this luxuriously. Everyone on staff at the resort adheres to the same standards of excellence when it comes to customer service. From the reception team to housekeeping to restaurant service to poolside concierge servers-the service was consistently professional and accommodating. Our room was on the 10th floor with a beautiful view of the pools and the sea. The Governor's Suite was massive and meticulously clean. We had everything at our disposal that we could ask for. We dined at almost all of the on-site restaurants and had a delicious meal with excellent service each night. The breakfast buffet at Azul was plentiful with an egg station, a quesadilla station, fresh cheeses and pastries, something for everyone. The green juice was our favorite drink in the mornings. The beach was clean and walkable, we saw Pelicans and whales from our breakfast table!
We had our wedding ( Ghovanlou & Leone Wedding) at Grand Velas Los Cabos on Sunday, 5/05/2019. It was truly amazing. We have to thank everyone at the resort fuor all the fun! There are some specific employees who were amazing: Marcela as our wedding coordinator, Karla/Rocio/Brenda for concierge, Jesus/Tomas at the pool, Jose/Jehu/Omar at Azul, Chefs at Lucca/Velas 10/ Azul, Narciso at Valet, Alberto at coffee shop, and Cristina at front desk. There are so many other employees to note, but unfortunately I don’t know their names. Thank you so much for all the hospitality and making our special day amazing. We will never forget it. We look forward to visiting on our anniversary ! We spent 9 days at the resort and didn’t want to return home. Everything is exceptional, from the suites, to the pool, to the gym, to the restaurants, and their customer service. It will be difficult to travel after staying at Grand Velas Los Cabos.
This is by far the best resort we have ever encountered. The service here is beyond fantastic. Our concierge, Brenda was awesome and catered to our every need. The food is exceptional and we particularly liked the Italian restaurant. This is our go to resort from now on! The pool and pool service was very good as well. I would highly recommend you experience this resort!
Grand Vela’s 100% truly a spectacular property. Excellent service all around. Restaurants are superb, staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Pools are temperature for comfort. Largest wine selection Lucca Italian-Mediterranean included with the all-inclusive. Chef of Lucca Restaurant Antonio Lamonica’s was a pleasure to have met him and complement him on our dinner, grilled octopus, lamb shank. Tequila tasting with Claudia Pacheco was outstanding. We were sorry not to have enough time to try Chef Sidney Schutte Cocina De Autor. Hard to believe an all-inclusive five-star experience with outstanding amenities The Gran Velas at Los Cabos Mexico
If you go to Grand Velas Los Cabos be sure to visit Se. When you do ask for Zoe! The food is exceptional. Cocina de Autor is a must do experience. All the staff is excellent and remember to ask for Zoe at the spa!
I wish I had understood before going that the water is cold, and you can't use the beach in the hotel. So it was just hanging out by a pool, which we could do at home. The food available all day is just ok, the restaurants don't open until the evening so you pretty much just eat junk during the day or wait for the evening. The michelin star rated restaurant is a fraud. The michelin stars is for some dude in Europe who designs the menu. I have to say that this was the worst meal I had in my whole life.
Possibly the best resort in Cabo. The rooms, service, food, amenities were all fantastic. Tons of stuff to entertain young kids and teens. Fun pool bars for the adults. We do not usually do all inclusive but this place changed my mind. Can't wait to go back.
This hotel lies between San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. It has many pros and very little cons. The premises are beautiful. Bougainvilleas sprout from every terrace; the beautiful landscaping, with palm trees and flowers, gives a tropical look to this dessert land. Three terraced infinity pools merge the horizon with the ocean. Even the stone in the pools floor is the same color as the sea, instead of the light blue mosaic other pools usually show. The pools are warm, surrounded with enough sun beds. You don´t have to get up early to reserve one. There are also towels everywhere, and you don´t have to sing or return them. Sunblock dispatchers are also around the pools. We tried 4 different dinner restaurants and they were all delicious. It´s hard to choose. They´re open to the public, so you can invite friends from different hotels. The buffet restaurant for breakfast and lunch is big enough, so you don´t have to wait in line. Rooms are wide, have a jacuzzi for two and a terrace with a queen sized sun bed and a lounge. The room includes robes, slippers, hairdryer, of course, but also hair iron, a beach bag, Nespresso machine and a mini bar that can be restocked with four favorites. The big TV screen offers many premium channels. We could even watch the last season premier of G.O.T. Room service is fast, good, and most of all, it comes warm enough. The service tables include an electric oven that keeps food warm. It took around 30 minutes. Previously, we had lost 10 minutes looking for the room service menu, before discovering it was on the TV. Now, the few cons... Their liquor menu is great, including single malt whisky, tequila, vodka, gin, cocktails, expressos, capuccinos. But their wines are very poor; we tried all the house wines and disliked all of them. Of course, you can order premium wines à la carte, but they´re expensive and few. By our third day, they had ran out of all our favorites. We decided to buy our wines in a licquor store and bring them along, which the sommelier accepted with no corkage. If you like cocktails, consider the bartenders are experts making Margaritas or Piñas Coladas. For anything more sophisticated, ask it directly on the bar, where you can supervise it. That´s what our son did with his Mojitos. Don´t ask for a Mimosa; their Prosecco is terrible. Breakfast and lunch is served only in one restaurant. Most All Inclusives offer 2 or 3. They do have a small restaurant pool side, but it´s only a "cevichería" for cold seafood. On busy days, they offer burgers and pizza by the pool. Make sure your room door closes. Half of the time is looks closed but it hasn´t clicked and you have to push it. It´s worse if the Do not disturb bean bag sign gets in the way. And about the sea... it´s not worth it. The water is cold, the beach is rocky, the tide and waves are high, the sand is coarse. It shows a permanent black flag and the staff strongly suggests you to keep away from the ocean. If you enjoy a walk on the sand, bring your shoes.
