It is not the property they offered me and I have a claim made with Expedia to be refunded for what they charged me because it is completely different from what I hired. I'm waiting for the communication from Expedia to end this matter.

Location Map Incorrect

The apartment was fine but not where we wanted to stay. It is incorrectly shown on the map home page. It is not on the marina.It was confusing as we got 2 different check in details with different addresses prior to our arrival. The laundry is not in the apartment and not being American residents we were unable to sign up and use the laundry app. Check in was fine if you were driving, but difficult when you were walking with luggage. Supermarket was close, but only a couple of nice restaurants were within walking distance. I would not recommend this apartment if you dont have a car.

Great location

Great location, but only condo view is of the pool and your close neighbor units. Not much privacy. Excellent pool and bbq facilities. Upbeat party scene at pool over July 4th holiday. Very nice neighbors. Excellent location for walking to Marina shops and restaurants and easy access to main blvd to drive to beach.

Beware: NOT in location advertised in listing.

The property was actually nice and clean. However, there was a bit of a bait and switch with the location. The listing shows the property on the Marina and says it’s a 12 minute walk to Venice Beach and 6 minute drive to Santa Monica. When we got the confirmation email it provided an address on Marquesas (on the marina). However, when we received check in information texted to us from the host, Annika, it sent us to a completely different address in a different part of town, off Maxell. Absolutely NOT a 12 minute walk to Venice beach or 6 minute drive to Santa Monica. When I called the host back she said the address listed used to be where you would “start” by getting the keys, but now it’s a key pad so we didn’t need to go there any more. When I questioned why the listing looked different, Annika got short and immediately said, “I’ll refund your money right now if you don’t want to stay there.” Unfortunately, there were no reasonable options and it ended up being a decent place. But definitely not worth the up charge that staying on the Marina would have been worth. It all worked out, but feeling overcharged for the location it ended up being in. Lesson learned.

Long weekend stay

The property was clean and very roomy and had all amenities needed for a four night stay. There is a grocery and restaurants within walking distance. The beach was about a 10 minute drive. Annika was a great host with very detailed check-in process that made it easy. The area/location was a good central point for all of our vacation plans around LA.

Both the apartment, and the building, were modern, surprisingly spacious, very clean, completely safe, and conveniently located. A HUGE PLUS was the fantastic gated parking garage, with remote control. We felt like well-to-do Californians, with a high-end apartment, during the too few days of our stay. Coming up with some negative comments, which are REQUIRED by this website, was difficult, but we found that some cabinet doors were a little loose and the second TV in the bedroom had no media player or internet. But, we would rent again--even if these were not improved. Main TV in the living room was great and fully connected. Owner was great -- we felt WELL cared-for.

What a great spot. Clean, quiet, steps from the beach and venjce boatdwalk. However the one thing that stood out most was Annika's hosting skills. She provide exact directions and was there to answer all of our questions.
