I reserved and paid through hotels.com, but the lady at the front desk still charged me for the room. I paid it, thinking maybe we only reserved the room when I put my card info through hotels.com, but once I got to the room I double checked and it was confirmed that I was charged from hotels.com and the hotel itself.
