The place was Very nice and affordable. I enjoyed my stay there. All staff are accommodating. They serve breakfast. It was simple but good. The place is highly recommended for travellers who want to save more. The place is few Bus stop ride to Gants Hill station London undergrond so you can easily go to the other parts of London.
Rule Britannia? Not exactly. Although...... this place is not bad at all if your on a tight budget. We paid €43 for a family room including English breakfast. A real bargain! The room was clean but very small for two double beds. Hallways were also very clean and tidy, but very tight and 'maze' like. Chap at check inn was very friendly and swift and the breakfast was very good, although you need a bit of luck to quickly get a spot.
Spent two nights in this small hotel when on a trip to London. It is more a bed and breakfast than a hotel and has no reception area lounges or bar. We were accommodated in a house next to the main building and found it very quiet and comfortable. The room was large and clean with a comfortable and clean bed. The furniture was adequate. The bathroom was adequate in size and very clean. Shampoo, soap and hair drier were supplied. Breakfast was good and don't miss the pancakes. Overall this is a good location if visiting Ilford on a short break as it also has good connections to the City.
My sister, myself and nephew stayed here from 7th June till 18th June. We stayed in the family room located upstairs in the loft. The room was lovely and clean and was cleaned to a high standard every morning by the friendly girls that cleaned. The breakfast was fantastic and certainly something great to start the day off... Sausages, baked beans, hash browns, mushrooms, poached eggs and the most delicious crepes! Also having the usual cereal, toast, juices and assortments of jams and tea or coffee. All in all a great stay, with super comfy beds and shower was great too....
excellent service and great staff especially Fakhir at the reception who helped us a lot. Been there a few times and has always been a great pleasure to come back.Breakfast was excellent and the rooms quite big.
It is not worth the money. Parking is limited to about 4 spots. There is only room for 4 cars. Street parking is limited and you have to move your car by a certain time in the morning or get a ticket. The inn is more of a bed and breakfast and not a hotel, as it is located in a converted home with rooms in separate buildings. There is no lift/elevator, so it is a difficult chore taking large luggage up 3 flights of narrow stairway. The bathroom is terrible in our room. It is an open room with shower and no space separating the toilet and shower area. After showering, the floor is flooded in the toilet and sink area. There are about 4 internet links, but they did not work 80% of the time.
Easily found with the post code. Friendly staff, check in went smoothly. Room was a family room in the courtyard. Looked to have been recently decorated. I didn't realise that the sofa was in fact a sofa bed. So my children (4yrs old) had to share a bed. But that was my fault. Lovely hot breakfast and children loved the homemade pancakes. Very quite area at the hotel although Ilford high street does get busy. The shopping centre was great for food and shelter. There's a tesco express and a Lidl within walking distance. The 99p shop is handy if you forget anything. Must add that if you have children or just want some open space to chill, then Valentines park is a great find and so close!! The cafe opens late and serves all sorts of food. Back to the hotel, would recommend highly and stop here again. The only let down was the WiFi which was slow and the first come first serve parking. Although we always got in and managed to find one lucky marked space at the neighbouring hotel
