We were in Chester for two days and wanted to be able to walk everywhere and this hotel was perfect. We were upgraded to a suite and the staff could not have been nicer. The room was clean and very comfortable.
Craxton Wood is a lovely hotel in gorgeous grounds, it is conveiniently situated to Chester, Liverpool and North Wales, the food is excellent and the staff really friendly, we had a great stay the room was really nice, the weather was nice too which added to the stay, we didn't use the facilities so can't comment on that side, but would recommend to anyone.
That said, I found the breakfast service, from host to waitpersons to be indifferent and lacking in vigour and a willingness to serve. Otherwise, I will be back, but not for breakfast. Otherwise, great service on all other fronts! Thanks, Herb Howell
