Very modern-looking, somewhat severe in room decor.

Liked that the location was a little out of the way. However view of the Mersey was not as good as I was hoping.

Stood here in October of 2018 property has gone down. Room service meal wasn’t fresh. Air con didn’t work. Room dusty, mini bar not stocked. Gave a twin room at first when a double booked. Front desk upon arrival wasn’t attentive

Stood here just 5 days earlier in a lower class of room and it was far superior to room 416. Bed was uncomfortable door in bath destroyed. Shower looked dirty. No separate sprayer in shower or tub. Bar staff tried to kick us out of lounge for private event even though we waited until it was over and front desk said we could go in. Location is perfect near the water and three graces. Bar and restraint staff is very lacking. Front desk however is superior.

It is a good hotel with a great staff. The rooms are good, but temperature control can be an issue. A nice feature is the heated rail for bath towels. It is needed since the bathrooms are cold. Breakfast is good enough. If I am being picky, the scrambled eggs are on the runny side. But I would (and probably will) stay there again.
