Professional welcoming staff in a very comfortable hotel. Ideal for business or short break. Excellent full English breakfast that is provided as a self serve buffet - no restrictions on amount. Bedrooms large and comfortable with iron, ironing board and tea and coffee making facilities. Nice bar although spirits are a little pricey. Great place to stay. Will use again if back on business.
Hotel was great, got it for 20,000 IHG points, free wine in room as part of my selected package. Also had executive club lounge access for canapes and drinks until 730pm. Thereafter, all snacks in the lounge, and breakfast too were free. Excellent. Room was large and well appointed, no problems. Parked car overnight, and aranged to leave it there for an extra night after check out for my one day one night trip in Dublin. Car all ok upon return.
I have been in this hotel many times. I was lucky , and did not realize that a lot of rooms are very noisy. So the hotel is out of city center , is not close to any major attraction, only very handy if you want to fly, the airport is close by. Why to choose it? To have a quite night , relaxing and start fresh the following day. This can also not happen. I arrived from a very long journey, asked the miss at reception, and specific asked if I had an upgrade, and a quite room, as I was exhausted. Yes ,we have given you an upgrade room and is very quite. I believe the reception has got charming and beautiful staff, but this is what doesn’t interest to a guest. I was more interested in getting a quite room. The result was it started a 4 in the morning, to hear truck , cars etc going to the shopping center nearby and across the road... I could not sleep any longer. The windows are so old the noisy is very clear. In the morning I asked, quickly to change room, and when I came back, no rooms available. So it happened again. Wake up at 4 am. So I just want to share my bad experience with the readers, and wish will happen to less guest as possible. The hotel, for what it should be, cannot charge the customer high prices, and have such poor windows. The rest of the hotel is not too bad, a bit old but ok. Not the noisy and the window.. I hope you will not get the same service. Good luck
We stayed at this hotel for one night. We were very shocked by the size of the room, how big it was, and all the facilities in the room. Everything was very clean and tidy. There was good scenery, I loved the planes outside. We used the gym next door free of charge, which was perfect. The pool was lovely and the jacuzzi. There was even hot chocolate and biscuits in the room for us. Really really happy. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
We stayed here for a night before heading off to a spa treat. We've stayed here many times in the past and have always enjoyed our stay. We always book a room with access to the club lounge. Maria in the club lounge was a joy, so friendly and welcoming. It was a pity that we were just a few days early for the opening of the Jin restaurant as that looks so invitimg but we'll be back again soon to experience it. The only negative point was the smell in the lift to the left behind reception. It smelled of mould and I think the air freshners in the lift needed changing. Won't stop us coming back though!
Excellent location close to Liverpool John Lennon Airport. Friendly staff and spacious rooms I would recommend it to anyone who has to catch a flight or is doing business locally. Bar menu pretty standard fare I chose a pizza possibly not the best option.
tnku for the amazing room and the amazing service it was all nice we wished we stayed more for sure we will visit you again the room was huge rm num225 or 255 cause I forgot sry it was clean and not far from the centre
Very good location for city centre, around a 10 minute drive.Hotel is very pleasant and clean! Room was spacious and well equipped! No ventilation in bathroom while showering, we had to ask reception for extra towels and coffee cups for the four of us?Be aware of parking charges on arrival, as carpark is not owned by hotel - a 100 pound fine if you do not register your car details with reception is possible from the CCTV controlled carpark! Receptionist didnot advise us of this when we arrived late in the evening , luckily I noticed the warning signs in the morning!
Very good service given by all the hotel staff and friendly attitudes. We only asked to check if the sausages for breakfast were vegetarian, the staff instantly offered to have vegetarian sausages made for us and we got served these a short while later at our table. We really liked the sprays to help us sleep better. All the little things matter.
Nice and clean room but the TV was poor, only 9 channels and I'm pretty sure the idea is to get you to buy a movie for £11. Ordered some room service and it was nice but the portion was small, fish and chips was a small piece of fish and about a dozen chips. I've stayed in the area before but I think I'll go back to the premier inn down the road.
