We stayed at the house for our weekend trip to NYC. We had our dog with us, so the pet friendly option was important to us. It worked out well. The maps will tell you it is 30 min from the city but it always took us 50 min to 1.5 hr to drive in and out due to traffic. The area is very quiet and peaceful. There is lots of light in the main room, so if you are a sensitive sleeper, make sure you use the bedroom.
