Hotel is old, but beautiful with clean rooms and bath, good location near the park where you can relax in the shade during warm summer day. Breakfast is very limited but fresh and tasty. Located close to Marques de Pombal square. Parking is available in public parking, but hotel can give a card with a discounted amount.
Considered the service and the room I found this hotel too expensive (around 77 euros for a double). Good location, half an hour walk from the center, good breakfast (but coffe and the juice were not so good). Room just plain ugly and did not smell very good. The service was ok
I booked using booking.com since I wanted a room near the airport. I've been on a business trip and I just needed a room with a twin mattress to be confortable. When I went there I parked the car alongside the park nearby. I entered the lobby and it was hot and smelly. The lady told me breakfast was only served from 7.30 am which was not an option for me since I had to leave earlier than that. I ended up in a room with two tiny beds that were separated. The carpet was full of stains, the bathroom had no windows and was really hot. Both Windows were kept open since there was no AC. One of the beds had some stains on its bedsheets. On top of that the toilet kept on flushing and water was leaking continuesly. I had to manually close the tube since the noise was too loud at night. Internet never worked and it kept saying he signal was too weak. Finally, I left my cell phone charging all night long but it barely charged to 60%. Never ever again.
The rooms are damp, smelly and in need of total refurbishment. We found a dirty sock by a chair so not sure when it had last been cleaned. The rooms do not look like the picture and we tried 2 Rooms as moved room on arrival as 1st room spelt of smoke, damp and full of flies. The decor was late 50s and no paint since. No tea or coffee as advertised. Restaurant and Bar closed except for breakfast. Beware if you have cereal for breakfast as waiter pours surplus cereal at bottom of storage urn back into top...and staff were rude and unconcerned about the poor conditions.
***Hotel with low price in relatively good location, 0,5 hour walk to old center of Lisbon. In close neighbourhood 5 restaurant , with italian , sea food, kebab and local food, also. Unfortunately, rooms needs refurbishment, urgently (!). Bathtube with rust stains , mould points on walls of bathroom. However, room service ok, everyday new bedding and towels. Breakfast on in hotel bar on 10th floor with good view on streets, tasteful bread, nice service. Wojtek & Barbara Poland
We arrived on LISBOA on 14 February 2017 at the hotel EDUARDO VII. We received the room 112, very dirty, the bad smell, dampness, we can't breathe. The furniture are very old. The breakfast was the same for 4 days and very poor. Even the receptionist was very careful we was very disappointed of this hotel. Noise, very much noise... we received after we call at the reception other room 905 that was little clean. Find other hotel, not this!
Lovely, oldfeshion hotel, with helpful stuff. Rooms are clean, but very very small. The hotel really needs renovation. It is not modern, it has this old charm. It is located closed to all city attractions, there are 2 metro stations nearby (3-4 min by foot). Great when you travel on budget.
The hotel needs renovation as soon as possible. Bathrooms are not acceptable, sheets are dusty, Etc... If you want to have a nice staying in Lisbon choose another hotel. There are so beautiful places to experience the pleasant atmosphere of this magical city. I was happy to change it with Hotel 3K Europe.
I had stayed here for 4 nights during July, 2016. The hotel is quite close to city center and also only 3-4 minutes to the nearest underground station. The rooms are clean but the furniture is quite old. The breakfast had the same food all the time : coffee, milk , orange juice( which I did not like at all), croissants, omelette, honey and some peach/ strawberry jam. All in all , I liked the accommodation even if i did not like that much the food we had eaten. I might come here again.
Location of hotel Eduardo is perfect! right next to main boulevard, 10 min walk from the oldest district Alfama. Rooms are very small but the good thing is that the room service come to clean every day. Breakfast extremely basic and everyday the same.
