I had a great time and this hotel is extremely clean. The room was spacious and clean. My view was very adequate since I dreamt for many years of the Portugal sunrise and sunset. I was totally elated and my grandma spoke the truth about the country. The weather can be compared to that of San Francisco in the US. I did my Pilgrimage to Fatima as its celebrates its centennial of the apparition and the Miracle of the Sun. i took time to pray for PEACE IN THE WORLD. I hope to return someday in the future. I wish to thank the entire staff and personnel for their hospitality. Obligada! Thank You! Merci Beaucou! Danke! Muchissimas Gracias!
Hotel represent nothing special. average Hotel with better service then expected. Hotel is good situated close to airport and well connected to city. There is metro station next to Hotel. and taxi are always close by.
I did like very much the hotel. The rooms are spacious and so are the bathrooms. The hotel is nice and it seems very new. I liked the breakfasts a lot! The staff was very supportive with me and my friends. There is a metro station 1/2 block from the hotel and there is a Starbucks almost in front of it. I really enjoyed my stay in Lisbon, being the hotel part of these pleasant memories.
A great hotel in a great location of Lisbon right next to Metro ( no noise at all! ) and a taxi rank as well as buses running to all destinations. Courteous, friendly and efficient staff always ready to help. A very good breakfast will set up up to start your day. Couldn't wish for better!
We (two couples) had been on a cruise and were staying two days in Lisbon at the end of the cruise. My husband came down with a virus the day before we got off the cruise and was feeling pretty awful. We got to the hotel about 10:00 a.m. and check in time was 2:00 p.m. I explained the situation to the front desk and Vera Caseiro and Jose Cruz immediately were on the phone and within 30 minutes or less we were checked into our room. It made a world of difference to us since my husband was able to relax and I was able to get him settled before I went out to sightsee. The room was large by European standards, the bathroom was probably the best set up for lighting I had seen in a long time. The breakfast was wonderful with plenty of fruit, pastries, eggs, meat, coffee, juice, etc. The bar was pretty much open most of the time with soup, sandwiches, a limited menu but quite adequate. There was a subway just across the street which made sightseeing very easy. The only down side is there weren't a lot of restaurants in the immediate area, although there were quite a few cafes. We were away from the hotel most of the time so really didn't check out the area much for restaurants. The day we left Yara Castro and Ana Melo were very helpful in getting us a cab to the airport. Our experience at this hotel was great. One small exception was a surly waiter in the bar the last night we were there but that was very very minor.
Was pleasantly surprised at the beautiful suite with balcony we got after reserving a double room at a very reasonable price! Included an ample breakfast and wifi. Centrally located but outside the humdrum of the old town. The yellow bus has a stop nearby. Close to train and bus stations. The living room area has 2 couches, tv and mini bar and there's another tv in the bedroom. Very quiet at night, comfy bed and double sink bathroom with bidet, tub and nice shower. There's parking in the building at 10€ per night. Just loved this hotel!
We arrived Lisbon in early evening and planned to go to Porto in the next monring. So, we booked this hotel which is less costly and is convenient to travel from airport. We took pink line and transfer to purple line at Sao Sebastiao station, and take 1 station to Praca de Espanha station. There is an metro exit just in front of the hotel. However, you need to know the exit otherwise, you will need to cross the road at the opposite side. The hotel room is reasonably large enough and the bathroom is quite spacious compared to other hotels in Europe at the similar cost. However, they do not have hot water boiller as mentioned, but the staff are kind enough to provide hot water when we need. The breakfast is nice and with plenty of choices of fruits, and other dishes.
The hotel is within about a 20/25 minute taxi ride from Lisbon airport. The staff are friendly, courteous, helpful and efficient. The hotel itselff because of the location it's a bit noisy and crowded in the morning. The breakfast not too good!!!
The hotel is within about a twenty minute taxi ride from Lisbon airport. The staff are all friendly, courteous, helpful and efficient. The rooms are comfortable and clean with good sized bathrooms - we had a bath with a shower over. The breakfasts were plentiful with a good selection of hot and cold dishes. We ate dinner in the restaurant twice and the food was delicious on both occasions. The only drawback was that the hotel was a bus, taxi or metro ride from the centre. This meant that out of three evenings we only ate out once.
Stayed at this hotel for a week. The hotel is located a little ways from the Center of the city but the metro line is literally right outside this hotel and a 10 min ride. Hotel staff is very friendly and room is more than comfortable. There is the occasional plane that flies over but it never disturbed my sleep.
